A new report surfaced on Wednesday that President Obama and his administration should have known that when they helped oust former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and helped usher in Egypt’s new President, Mohamed Morsi’s, that Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood ties with Jihadists, slaughtered tourists in Egypt in 1997.
In 1997, 62 tourists were shot and killed at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Luxor, Egypt by the Islamic terrorist group, Jihad Talaat al-Fath, who had ties with the Muslim Brotherhood and Morsi.
Among the dead were Swiss, German, and British citizens as well as a tour of Japanese honeymooners.
Remembrance of that day was expressed by Maha Bahnassy, an Egyptian TV and Radio host in Cairo and Egyptian blogger and Internet Marketing and Social Media Expert, Eman Nabih on Wednesday.
Bahnassy said, “It was a very sad day for Egypt and for the whole free world… and I can ever forget the faces of the families of these innocents that came to collect the bodies of those killed for no reason at all while they were in a vacation in the land that they always wanted to come visit.”
“After all the investigations and police hard work, it was found that a group of Jihady Muslim terrorists were responsible for that Massacre,” said Bahnassy. Some were killed by the police on site but the mastermind of the whole operation was arrested and sentenced for life imprisonment.”
