NYC Subway Death: New Video Shows a Different Narrative

Marine veteran took steps to save Neely

Marine Veteran Daniel Penny is not a “killer” at heart. And the “protesters” we’ve seen blocking the NYC subway are doing what protesters do at every “triggering” event: it’s an excuse for them, not a “cause.” The NYC subway death of Jordan Neely happened because he was out of control and had been for a long time.  New video footage revealed that Mr. Penny and those passengers with him placed Neely in a “recovery” position according to standard first aid.  Do killers really do that? No.

What is the “recovery position?”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

When a person is unconscious and has no major injuries, a “recovery position ” is a good way to prevent aspiration of vomit or other fluids that could cause breathing difficulties. The person is laid on their side instead of their back like this:

  • First, lay the person on their back and kneel on the floor beside them.
  • Extend the arm nearest to you at a right angle to the person’s body with the palm facing up.
  • Take the person’s other arm, folding it and pressing it to the cheek closest to you. Hold it in place.
  • Use your other hand to bend the person’s knee (furthest from you) to a right angle.
  • Roll them to their side by pulling gently on the bent knee. Their bent arm supports their head and the other arm prevents you from rolling them too far.
  • Be sure that the bent leg is at a right angle.
  • Tilt the person’s head back and lift their chin to open their airway.

While Daniel Penny and the men who assisted him didn’t do it perfectly according to the procedure above, it was pretty close. The attempt to assist Neely in his breathing is obvious. He was still alive during this video, as his legs are moving. The Medical examiner’s statement that this was a “homicide” is incorrect. Intentional killing is homicide, accidental is manslaughter…if it was not a self-defense situation. Self-defense is a totally different ballgame.

Jordan Neely had a long track record of threats and violence, with 40 arrests. He was reportedly threatening NYC subway passengers with harming them when Daniel Penny and others stepped in to subdue him. The passengers thanked Mr. Penny and the others for protecting them. The NYC subway death may go to a Grand Jury this week to determine if charges will be filed against the Marine veteran.

The “protests” that have been ongoing since the incident are also bs. Protesters suddenly appear hours after something occurs. The same thing happened in 2020 after the death of George Floyd. It is a business, a “job,” an excuse to be violent. It has nothing to do with caring for the person or their family.
