As usual with any breaking news, the situation is often the opposite of the original stories. From the narrative that the missile that hit Poland was Russian to Wednesday morning’s “Ukraine air defense” missile, it leaves people scratching their heads.

Russia has indeed been attacking Ukraine with a huge number of missiles lately. But this missile that landed on a farm in Poland is now said to be a Ukrainian Air Defense S300 missile.
Zelenskyy pushed for immediate action against Russia. Russia denied any targeting of Poland. IF this had gone to “action” it could have started WWIII. So again we have to ask…was this deliberate or accidental? While it is a terrible tragedy that Ukraine has been attacked and their people slaughtered, we have to wonder why Zelenskyy is so hot to expand the war.
It’s one thing wanting to stop an aggressor who started a war with your country. It’s quite another to want a world war in its wake.
Stoltenberg attempted to ease concerns regarding any attempt by Russia to purposely hit NATO nations and said the alliance has constant land, air and sea-based defense systems on alert.
But reporters questioned why the rocket that killed two yesterday was not blocked by one of these defenses.
“Attacks, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles have special characteristics which we follow and monitor and then we make a judgment whether it’s an attack or whether it’s something else,” Stoltenberg told reporters. “That missile [didn’t] have the characteristics of an attack.” Fox News
UKRAINE tried to start WW3 yesterday when a UKRAINIAN missile struck a NATO country and killed innocent civilians.
Ukrainian leaders LIED and BLAMED RUSSIA. The AP wrote it up unquestioningly.

So this entire mess could have spiraled into WWIII under Article 5 of the NATO charter. Fortunately, a little investigation dropped the hammer on that plan. Zelenskyy is angry, that we understand. But there comes a time when both sides must work toward a resolution for peace. US and allied stockpiles of weapons and ammo are running dangerously low. At some point things must change.
