The toughest, most pro-Israel UN Ambassador we’ve ever had resigned, effective at the end of the year. Nikki Haley has stood firmly against the constant barrage of anti-US, anti-Israel hate since appointed in 2017.
President Trump said that she had approached him six months ago about needing a break, so he accepted her resignation. He hopes to find her replacement in the next two weeks. The resignation was announced Tuesday in the Oval Office with both President Trump and Nikki Haley…and it reportedly came as a surprise to many.
The President told her she has done a “fantastic job” and that “everyone will miss her.” He promised that they would stay in constant touch because “she knows the players.”

Here is her letter of resignation:
She quashed speculation that she would run against Trump in 2020, saying that she would campaign for him. She stated that she is stepping down because she believes in “term limits” and that government officials should rotate their positions.
“Now the U.S. is respected. Countries may not like what we do, but they respect what we do… The U.S. is strong again, it’s strong in a way that should make all Americans very proud.” Nikki Haley
That fact is largely because of her unbending strength against everyone from European Nations to Muslim ones at the United Nations. And yet, she has maintained a warm relationship to most of them. She literally walked into the “lion’s den” every day of her tenure.
“We will miss her. I worked with her two years and from the beginning it was a warm, personal relationship and Morocco will never forget her.” Moroccan Ambassador Omar Hilale to Fox News outside the U.N.
“Thank you for representing the values common to Israel and the United States. Thank you for your support for the State of Israel, which helped lead to a change in Israel’s status in the UN.Thank you for your close friendship and common paths. Wherever you are, you will continue to be a true friend of the State of Israel.” Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon
Left wing rags like Vox and New York Times played up her leaving as “coincidental” with other turnovers in the Trump administration. Leftists have been calling for an investigation into Haley for accepting flights on private aircraft as an ethics violation.
In spite of their insinuations, Nikki Haley will be leaving at the top of her game, with solid credentials and accomplishments to her credit. She has been the mover and shaker for helping America become respected again!
