NBC Editorial: Heterosexuality is Not Working, Men are a Blight

Marcie Bianco wrote an NBC editorial that claimed heterosexuality was not working, and flatly stated that men were a “blight on the earth.” (Breitbart) Wow, what bitterness and hatred does to people’s thought process is stunning.

The NBC editorial

“Men need heterosexuality to maintain their societal dominance over women. Women, on the other hand, are increasingly realizing not only that they don’t need heterosexuality, but that it also is often the bedrock of their global oppression…

…Patriarchy is at its most potent when oppression doesn’t feel like oppression, or when it is packaged in terms of biology, religion or basic social needs like security comfort, acceptance and success. Heterosexuality offers women all these things as selling points to their consensual subjection.

Historically, women have been conditioned to believe that heterosexuality is natural or innate, just as they have been conditioned to believe that their main purpose is to make babies — and if they fail to do so, they are condemned as not “real,” or as bad, women. Marcie Bianco

She was excited that her ridiculous diatribe went “mainstream.” Bianco writes for several left-leaning media: “NBC Think, Pacific Standard, Quartz, Rolling Stone, Salon, Vanity Fair, and Vox.”

She celebrates lesbian relationships and claims that “women are rising” to take back what the ‘patriarchal’ society has stolen. She uses Miley Cyrus as one of her examples of “freedom.” In fact, that is a hideous example of slavery. Her premise is designed to justify her own thoughts and actions.

Heterosexuality is why people exist. The traditional family unit has been under attack for decades. Without both male and female there would be no people at all. Historically, we could not change our hormones and be like frogs. In today’s “modern world” the lines are being blurred by technology and medicine, media hype and people like Bianco.

“They are taking back control of their lives and their bodies and they are questioning the foundation of the patriarchy — heterosexuality — that has kept them blindly subordinate for centuries.” Bianco

Not all women have been “blindly subordinate” -throughout history there have been warrior women in various cultures. Ancient cultures in parts of Greece had female warriors, and the Biblical Deborah fought alongside Barak.

Today Israeli women fight alongside their male counterparts in the IDF, and female Peshmerga have their own units. We have women within the ranks of our military- will hatred serve them well? No. The enemy is not the men who fight with them, in spite of normal interactions that might cause friction. I submit that Bianco’s NBC editorial reveals that she is operating in blind hate.

Where bitterness like Bianco’s exists, trouble will inevitably follow. The feminist movement has been fraught with putrid man-hate since its inception. They’d rather hate than let things go. Just forgive and walk away. It’s not worth the ball and chain around their lives, but they refuse.

Can they do anything they want and it doesn’t matter? No, it does matter. Unfortunately for people like Marcie Bianco in her NBC editorial, bitterness has completely taken over her psyche and soul. THAT is slavery.
