A mystery disease has cropped up in some of the migrants that have crossed the US border, and it’s not the first time. They are being held in quarantine as the CDC attempts to identify the malady. That’s not counting the Congolese who were suspected of possibly being exposed to Ebola, or the mumps and tuberculosis or others cases that could be infecting the border facilities, according to the Washington Examiner, who referred to it as “one step away from catastrophe.”
We previously reported back in March about the diseases like mumps, measles, and others that have been pouring across the border.

So little children have been raped, and people who just don’t care drag them thousands of miles amid unspeakable dangers. That’s unconscionable.
Somewhere, a certain number of the migrants are obtaining insurance…interesting? For the rest, our facilities are having to foot the bill. Treating them is not just expensive, it is time consuming. And since they usually don’t have established medical histories, the problem is overwhelming.
AOC and Omar have been loudly complaining that the facilities are “concentration camps” yet refuse to vote for humanitarian aid. Fortunately, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (of whom I am not a fan) kicked AOC et.al. to the curb and got the $4.6 Billion bipartisan Senate humanitarian aid bill passed in the House yesterday. It’s not enough, but it’s a start. Especially with a mystery disease on the prowl.
