Minnesota Dem Goes Berserk, Terrorizes Neighborhood: ‘F*** Hugo, Minnesota!’ (Video)

On Saturday, John Thompson, a Democrat who just won his primary race for the State House in Minnesota, participated in a Black Lives Matter protest outside the home of Minneapolis Police Federation President Bob Kroll in Hugo, Minnesota, where he launched into a profanity-laden diatribe threatening the neighborhood and those who live there.

“I didn’t come here to be peaceful,” he said — and he wasn’t.

For starters, he claimed — without any evidence whatsoever — that Kroll is not just a member of the Ku Klux Klan, but was the Grand Wizard.

An article at The Blaze noted:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Why the f*** is we so peaceful in this [homophobic slur removed] neighborhood,” Thompson shouted. “F*** your motherf***ing peace, white racist motherf***ers!”

One of the neighbors was holding a Blue Lives Matter flag and Thompson told him to “stick it up his a**.”

Thompson suggested to the crowd that the entire town should be burned down. “This whole god***n state burned down for $20 goddamn dollars, you think we give a f*** about burning Hugo down?”

“Blue lives don’t mean s*** to black people,” Thompson said. “F*** Hugo, Minnesota!”

The report also observed that Thompson was endorsed by Minnesota’s Democrat governor, Tim Walz.

Here’s video:

Real nice guy, right?

The St. Paul Republicans noted:

This video shows what a kind of person the Democrats will be voting for in Minnesota House District 67A from September to November 3rd, 2020. Imagine him in a hearing at the MN Capitol, or on the floor of the State House. The retiring Rep Tim Mahoney was far better a person than this guy. John Thompson traveled 20 miles north of his House District to Hugo Minnesota, where the Minneapolis Police Federation Union Head Lt Bob Kroll and his wife Liz Collins, an anchor of the CBS station WCCO, lives. The video is a little over an hour long. Candidate John Thompson starts in at 4 minutes and 40 seconds in.

John Thompson accuses the neighbors of being white supremacists, racists, etc. He denounces Blue Lives Matter. The assembled did not have a permit to protest in front of Lt Bob Kroll’s house, nor block the street. Why is this sort of campaigning allowed to occur?

Here’s the video they referenced.  Thompson begins somewhere around the 4:40 mark, if you can stomach the whole thing:

Apparently, someone informed him that it’s not good optics for a party’s candidate to essentially threaten people — and their children — in front of their house.  He later issued an “apology” to Facebook, saying:

I became an activist and ran for the legislature to make a difference, to work diligently to fix our broken criminal justice system, dismantle institutional racism, and honor my friend, Philando Castile and become a symbolism of hope within our community. I want to make a positive difference, and my comments on Saturday were not helpful. Inflammatory rhetoric is not how I want to address the important issues we’re facing, and I apologize.

Not everyone was impressed, however.  One person noted:

I don’t know…it’s pretty deliberate to hunt down the police union president’s house, form a mob there, then speak the way he did with the president’s wife and children soaking it in while beating your chest…I think something more than a Facebook apology would reconcile this.

Let’s put into perspective, what would’ve happened if the Orange Man said those things in that way?

Another person added: “You made it very easy to forget who you are John for a few minutes of being a real tough guy. What an absolute disgrace you are to the people of Minnesota.”

Apologies notwithstanding, this type of behavior has become mainstream for the modern Democrat Party.

One can only imagine what damage he would do if elected.  This is why the Democrat Party needs to be soundly defeated in November…

Exit question: Do the 269 companies that reportedly support BLM endorse this behavior and these threats?
