Within Judeo-Christian theology/ethics, humankind is warned not to succumb to idolatry, yes, the worship of “false gods”. For instance,

According to Jewish theology, idolatry is the ultimate betrayal of God’s relationship with humanity. It is also the ultimate metaphysical error. Idolatry was also reckoned as avodah zarah ( lit. ‘foreign worship’).

With the above immutable transgression in mind, coupled with the fact, tragically, that generations have been (mis)schooled within a so-called educational system which eschews distinguishing between right and wrong – cesspools to the nth degree – is it any wonder that religious/moral values are to be shunned, and at all costs? Inarguably, when a moral compass is no longer in play, it becomes a foregone conclusion that “false gods” enter the fray. It is under this paradigm that social media has become the “beast of all beasts”, and with Facebook/Meta leading the charge!

But before we head to its penultimate dangerous thrust, building blocks are mandatory underpinnings. Inestimably, as in every rock solid criminal investigation, sans a well-anchored foundation, the entire case will lose its moorings and collapse.
