There are a LOT of things to be grateful for this year, not the least of which is the narrow margin by which our next president’s life was saved from an assassin’s bullet.
Most of us are adults. We have no problem getting together with people who pulled the lever for the other team.
Wish we could say the same for the blue team.

Joy Reid went on some bizarre rant about avoiding Trump-voting relatives because ‘they might turn you in’ or something.
Even Biden’s spokes-muppet has printed out a ‘cheat sheet’ for how to talk about Biden’s successes during Thanksgiving dinner.
With the left having no clue about how to take a break from politics 24/7 — and actively looking for ways to shoehorn it into the Thansgiving it’s hardly surprising that there has been some… pushback.
A little bit of schadenfreude, if you like.

But one video in the midst of all the rest really caught what the mood of this post-election Thanksgiving is really all about. The unexpected interactions where strangers help strangers and find they’ve become family along the way.
