Mayorkas Gets Fierce Tongue-Lashing For Biden’s Failed Border Policies, Ministry Of Truth (Video)

Joe Biden’s performance as president is falling far short of what Americans want, and way more than half say he’s simply failing.

Kamala Harris has been unable to accomplish anything of significant in the chores she’s been given, the southern border crisis Biden created and the Democrats’ demand to take over all elections nationwide.

Also in the administration, there’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who took weeks and weeks off from work to be a new parent with his same-sex partner while America’s supply chain collapsed.

And Xavier Becerra has proven to be nothing more than an attack dog against Christians and conservatives with his wildly leftist agenda at Health and Human Services.

But what is certain is that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is on par with the performances of the others.

His department, after all, announced the creation of a “disinformation” office, which critics immediately slammed as a “Ministry of Truth” like the book 1984 describes.

The Western Journal documented the criticism he faced at a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing this week.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., grilled Mayorkas about his “Disinformation Governance Board,” questioning whether Mayorkas even knew what “disinformation” is.

“Do you know who the greatest propagator of disinformation in the history of the world is? The U.S. government,” he charged.

Mayorkas, for his part, claimed that the “bizarre” board would not actually be used “to thought-police the American public.”

It’s “disinformation” from Russia and Iran that would be targeted, he claimed.

But Paul pointed out the failing of that argument.

“We can’t even agree what disinformation is. You can’t even agree that it was disinformation that the Russians fed … to the Steele dossier,” he said. “If you can’t agree to that, how are we ever going to come to an agreement on what is disinformation, so you can police it on social media?”

Then, too, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., grilled Mayorkas on the failed border policies of the Biden administration.

One complication Mayorkas is facing is the radically extreme woman named to head the disinformation war.

She’s publicly exhibited such themes as singing a song about who she was to “f—” in order to be wealthy and powerful.

According to GoodWordNews, Mayorkas claimed that he wasn’t aware of the extremism exhibited by Nina Jankowicz.

The report explained, “Jankowicz has also dubbed herself the ‘Mary Poppins of Misinformation’ on TikTok to alert individuals to ‘atrocious’ content.”

One video shows her doing a parody of Mary Poppins.

Townhall reported Johnson’s focus was the Biden failure on the southern border, where he canceled multiple security programs begun by President Trump, attracting hundreds of thousands of newcomers to the border.

The report said, “Since the start of the Biden administration, Border Patrol has broken records every month of the number of illegal immigrants they have encountered and have managed to get away from law enforcement. In addition to the large number of illegal crossings, the amount of drugs that have been seized by Customs and Border Protection has also dramatically increased as the Biden administration reversed many of the Trump administration’s border policies.”

The senator said, “Again you can sit there and deny, the actions you took, your policies have sent the signal to world…the final signal that our border is completely open. You even stopped calling ‘apprehension’ now it’s just ‘encountered’…You’re managing the process by making that processing and dispersing so much more [efficiently].”

He accused Mayorkas of dodging questions and “living in an alternate reality.”
