The Martha’s Vineyard ultra-rich meltdown over 50 migrants flown to the ritzy island continues as liberals scream that dropping them off their own backyard was “inhumane.” So how do they think small border towns cope with hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants romping through their property? Florida Gov DeSantis was trying to make a point, and it appears that they totally missed it. Instead of handling the 50 migrants themselves, they packed them up and shipped them to Joint Base Cape Cod to let the US Military handle it.

But 50 people being flown into Martha’s Vineyard, a town of 15K affluent liberals, is “inhumane” and a “humanitarian crisis”…?

So naturally if they are panicked, they shipped the migrants out to let the Military babysit. Because they declared themselves a “sanctuary” someone else should deal with it. NOW who’s tramatizing the migrants?

The arguments back and forth between residents and politicians were fierce on social media. Virtue signalling compassion is not the same as real compassion. Real compassion means you have to practice what you preach – the Martha’s Vineyard ultra-rich meltdown showed the entire country that no one was willing to give up their fancy homes, their summer housing in order to help those in need. So much for “sanctuary” jurisdictions.
