Marjorie Taylor Greene Schools Liberal Lawyer About ‘1776’ During Sham Hearing To Keep Her Off Georgia Ballot (Video)

The subversive organization known as the Democrat Party is so concerned about losing the upcoming midterm elections that it has adopted a new strategy.  Essentially, Democrats seek to keep Republicans off the ballot by falsely claiming they are “insurrectionists” for opposing the declared outcome of the 2020 election.  They’ve already tried — and failed — with Madison Cawthorn, and they are trying to do the same with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, R-Ga.

Desperate, despicable Democrats hope that by using a clause in the 14th Amendment — passed after the Civil War — they can hold on to power by having Republicans they despise declared “insurrectionists.”

On Friday, the effort continued as Greene testified in court.  Her attorneys have said in filings that she “vigorously denies that she aided and engaged in insurrection to obstruct the peaceful transfer of presidential power.”

Of course, it wasn’t an insurrection, but facts do not seem to matter these days, especially to the Marxist left determined to destroy America by any means necessary.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

During the three-hour testimony, lawyers for the plaintiff tried, but failed, to make their case and even went so far as to suggest the term “1776” is somehow a call to violence.  For those who have been educated in the “modern” system of indoctrination known as the public school system, 1776 is the year American patriots declared independence from Great Britain.

Greene, however, crammed the lawyer’s assertion back down his liberal throat in a way that made even the judge laugh.

As the BBC noted:

For example, on 5 January, one day before the riot, Ms Greene said in an interview: “This is our 1776 moment”, in what lawyers said was a reference to the year that the US declared independence from Britain, triggering a war.

Under oath, she said that she had no memory of that statement and denied that references to 1776 amounted to a secret call for violence. The Georgia state seal hanging in the court, she noted, has the year “1776” written on it, prompting a laugh from the judge.

Here’s video:

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., an ally of Greene’s, was in the courtroom and witnessed the judge’s response:

This is the state seal:

The lawyer also tried to tie her comments to a line in the 1996 movie, “Independence Day.”

The Gateway Pundit tells us this brought a response from Randy Quaid, one of the actors in that movie:

According to the BBC report, the effort is being led by a group oddly named “Free Speech for People,” an organization the BBC claims “advocates for campaign finance reform.”  It looks to us as though the group is just another Marxist offshoot doing the Democrats’ dirty work.
