Did they give even one flibbertygibbet about irregularities in this ‘most secure election in history’? No. But now that there’s been an audit, we’ve suddenly got a crisis on our hands.
The real irony here is the unexpected and accidental bipartisan agreement… with the end result here being the ditching the Dominion voting machines.
These people do NOT like being made accountable. And suddenly, everyone who cried ‘foul’ over the ‘wasteful spending’ associated with this audit, and who did everything in their power to block, limit, oppose, or subvert it have all the money in the world to replace the machines that came under scrutiny.
This is not because there is evidence of tampering with these supposedly sooper-secure voting machines, allegations which should be easy enough to prove — because everything was transparent and scrutinized by live stream. Nor was it because Maricopa officials have become convinced that the voting machines themselves were the wrong tool for the job of elections — or else they would be hellbent on replacing all of the voting machines.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
One can only conclude that this is still part of their campaign to cast doubt on the validity of the audit itself.
Note their default to boilerplate Democrat talking points about threats to free and fair elections. Because we have more to say about that shortly.
The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, which oversees elections in the county, issued a response to a letter sent by Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, saying the county “shares [her] concerns” that the integrity and security of the Dominion Voting Systems machines and ballots might have been compromised during the audit.
“Accordingly, I write to notify you that Maricopa County will not use the subpoenaed election equipment in any future election,” said the letter, dated Monday. And in a news release, the county pledged to “never use equipment that could pose a risk to free and fair elections,” suggesting that the auditors may have compromised the machines.
Hobbs, a Democrat, had written to the county in May that she has “grave concerns regarding the security and integrity of these machines, given that the chain of custody, a critical security tenet, has been compromised and election officials do not know what was done to the machines while under Cyber Ninjas’ control.” Cyber Ninjas is the Florida-based technology firm that helped with the audit, which was authorized earlier this year by the Republican-controlled state Senate.

Grave concerns about security and chain-of-custody?
Where were those concerns when those same sorts of issues were raised about the ballots themselves?
Where are those concerns when we hear about such specific questions as the ones detailed in a letter by the AZ Senate President…
This according to a letter written by the Arizona State Senate President to the board of supervisors. The letter states that the audit team has discovered numerous omissions, inconsistencies and anomalies relating to the county’s handling, organization and storage of ballots.
II. Chain of Custody and Ballot Organization Anomalies:
As the audit has progressed, the Senate’s contractors have become aware of apparent omissions, inconsistencies, and anomalies relating to Maricopa County’s handling, organization, and storage of ballots. We hope you can assist us in understanding these issues, including specifically the following:
*The County has not provided any chain-of-custody documentation for the ballots. Does such documentation exist, and if so, will it be produced?
*The bags in which the ballots were stored are not sealed, although the audit team has found at the bottom of many boxes cut seals of the type that would have sealed a ballot bag. Why were these seals placed at the bottom of the boxes?
* Batches within a box are frequently separated by only a divider without any indication of the corresponding batch numbers. In some cases, the batch dividers are missing altogether. This lack of organization has significantly complicated and delayed the audit team’s ballot processing efforts. What are the County’s procedures for sorting, organizing, and packaging ballot batches?
*Most of the ballot boxes were sealed merely with regular tape and not secured by any kind of tamper-evident seal. Is that the County’s customary practice for storing ballots?
*The audit team has encountered a significant number of instances in which there is a disparity between the actual number of ballots contained in a batch and the total denoted on the pink report slip accompanying the batch. In most of these instances, the total on the pink report slip is greater than the number of ballots in the batch, although there are a few instances in which the total is lower. What are the reasons for these discrepancies? — ChristianaAguayoNews
Katie Hobbes can throw all the shade on the editors she wants… that still won’t absolve her of the many unanswered questions about how she failed in her responsibilities here.
