From the very onset of this long, lonely pandemic, there were debates raging online and around the dinner table regarding the possibility that a vaccination against COVID-19 would be made mandatory. Those with libertarian leanings were appalled at the idea, and the anti-vaxer movement was about to get a whole lot of limelight.
Now, with the vaccination rate in America holding steady at around 70%, we’ve hit that wall of folks who value their bodily sovereignty and have chosen not to be inoculated. So far, there have been no mandates to be vaccinated here in the United States.
Dr. Anthony Fauci isn’t so sure that it’s going to stay that way, however.
[…] Fauci is backing new COVID guidance issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics that schools require face masks for children older than 2 and all adults, regardless of vaccination status, contradicting what the Centers for Disease Control is saying.“There’s an uptick in cases in virtually all the states in the United States, and for that reason they want to go the extra mile to make sure that the children are protected in school,” Fauci said.
Then came the shocker:

The nation’s top infectious disease expert also said one day a COVID vaccine could be required for kids to return back to school.
“I would not be surprised that in the future this is something that would be seriously considered, depending upon how we handle the outbreak,” Fauci said.
The CDC is currently in a careful review of their school guidelines, according to Dr. Fauci.
