Mail-in Ballots Controversy: What to Know. #SaveOurElection

Mail-in ballots have been front and center in the clash between the Democrats (rats, for short) and Republicans. House Dems have chosen to hold a hearing over the big kerfluffle over mail-in ballots next week on Saturday and Monday at the start of the Republican Convention. Dems desperately do not want in person voting – they want blanket mail-in ballots sent to everyone.

The ballot evidenced in the video belongs to a woman on Twitter (@NoDramaMama) who voted in the Oregon primary this last Spring. We depend upon our mail carriers to be honest – but they are not always so altruistic. There are always those who choose to take matters into their own hands, or steal from you and I in the normal course of their day. I’ve had mail theft that had to have been done by a postal employee, and nothing ever came of it. Other carriers are as honest as the day is long and they have my complete confidence – but I know them.

 Mail-in Ballots not good – here’s why

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

But my vote for President? That could be another matter entirely, depending on whether the carrier is affected by TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).

You must actually request an absentee ballot in most states, which protects somewhat with the double checking on whether the person is an actual registered voter when they apply. The current push to send out ballots to every registered voter is a good way to have voter fraud.

In some states, such as California, illegals are automatically registered to vote, but are not eligible to vote in the Presidential race, only local ones. Can you see the potential for fraud by mailing out ballots to everyone? That’s only one area.

Dead People example

The LA Times reported on August 18, 2020:

A Norwalk man is facing voter fraud charges after prosecutors say he cast ballots in several elections using the name of his mother, who had died years earlier.

Caesar Peter Abutin, 55, pretended to be his mother in three elections between October 2012 and November 2014, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said Tuesday.

In each of the elections, Abutin claimed to be his 67-year-old mother, who had died in July 2006, prosecutors said. Abutin also cast votes using his own identity.

Such voter fraud charges are rarely filed in L.A. County and often are hard to prove, but officials said Abutin’s repeated pattern of voting using a long-deceased relative’s ID raised alarm bells. The deceptive practice was discovered after an investigation by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder and the district attorney’s office.

The Heritage Foundation published a guide to voter fraud on the White House website that lists the following sections and the perpetrators of such fraud from every state.

“IMPERSONATION FRAUD AT THE POLLS: Voting in the name of other legitimate voters and voters who have died, moved away, or lost their right to vote because they are felons, but remain registered.

FALSE REGISTRATIONS: Voting under fraudulent voter registrations that either use a phony name and a real or fake address or claim residence in a particular jurisdiction where the registered voter does not actually live and is not entitled to vote.

DUPLICATE VOTING: Registering in multiple locations and voting in the same election in more than one jurisdiction or state.

FRAUDULENT USE OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS: Requesting absentee ballots and voting without the knowledge of the actual voter; or obtaining the absentee ballot from a voter and either filling it in directly and forging the voter’s signature or illegally telling the
voter who to vote for.

BUYING VOTES: Paying voters to cast either an in-person or absentee ballot for a particular candidate.

ILLEGAL “ASSISTANCE” AT THE POLLS: Forcing or intimidating voters—particularly the elderly, disabled, illiterate, and those for whom English is a second language—to vote for particular candidates while supposedly providing them with “assistance.”

INELIGIBLE VOTING: Illegal registration and voting by individuals who are not U.S. citizens, are convicted felons, or are otherwise not eligible to vote.

ALTERING THE VOTE COUNT: Changing the actual vote count either in a precinct or at the central location where votes are counted.  [You can add “altering the vote count by theft of votes” here].

BALLOT PETITION FRAUD: Forging the signatures of registered voters on the ballot petitions that must be filed with election officials in some states for a candidate or issue to be listed on the official ballot.”
