Los Alamos Nuclear Lab Employees Off the Job: National Security At Stake?

The United States is experiencing an unprecedented loss of employees thanks to vaccine mandates. All of them have placed our national security at stake. We’ve lost hundreds of thousands of healthcare workers. We’ve lost thousands of police officers and firefighters on top of the radical Marxist violence in 2020. Every restaurant, electrical, plumbing, you name it business has a “now hiring sign” on it. We’re in the process of losing hundreds of military members, you know the ones who are trained to protect the nation. But when we read about the Los Alamos nuclear lab site losing over 300 employees over the vax mandate, it was an even bigger red flag.

To date, they have lost 185 who quit, and 153 who were placed on unpaid leave because they had a religious exemption. Many of these people were top nuclear scientists. Only 26 of their employees were given a medical exemption. It was once voted the “best place to work.” No longer. A lawsuit was filed earlier in October and the judge refused to block the mandate. Another lawsuit was filed on October 22 against the lab. Triad National Security LLC runs the laboratory as a contractor to the US government. They are claiming that 96% of their employees are vaccinated.

The plaintiffs include scientists, nuclear engineers, project managers, research technicians and others who have some of the highest security clearances in the nation for the work they do. Some employees said many of those who could lose their jobs are specialists in their fields and would be difficult to replace in the short term.

Some of the employees who are part of the lawsuit have worked for Los Alamos lab for decades, while others are newer hires who have relocated to New Mexico from other states and countries. Thirty-four of them are named in the lawsuit and 80 have opted to remain anonymous, citing fears of retaliation.

The lawsuit filed on Oct. 22 listed eight of the 153 employees who were placed on leave due to having received a religious exemption from the vaccine mandate.

“Defendants have approved religious exemptions for some employees, including plaintiffs and others not before the Court, but have given with one hand and then taken back with the other by imposing a blanket, one-size-fits-all accommodation that places those employees for whom a religious exemption has been granted on indefinite leave without pay and stripping them of their benefits,” the lawsuit states. “Defendants’ actions amount to a constructive termination.”

LANL didn’t grant exemptions to employees who have acquired natural immunity to COVID-19 through prior infection. A number of studies show that natural immunity grants similar or better protection against the virus. While the effectiveness of vaccines wanes over time, requiring booster shots, natural immunity lasts at least a year, according to a recent peer-reviewed study.

Employees with religious exemptions were told on Sept. 9 that they would be placed on unpaid leave or “may use vacation leave until an accommodation that will not unduly burden the laboratory or other employees has been identified,” according to a directive cited in the lawsuit.

On Sept. 20, LANL extended the vaccine mandate to employees working from home.

The Epoch Times

Basically 1) they are punishing people who have a religious exemption in violation of the First Amendment, as well as failing to recognize natural immunity and 2) they are terminating people for not obtaining the vaccine even if they don’t work in the lab itself. Last time we checked, Covid can’t be spread over the internet. The lab managed quite nicely during the pandemic with plain old masks and “social distancing.” Forcible vaccination is the name of the game now.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The loss of employees at the Los Alamos Nuclear Lab is one aspect of our national security being at stake from the vaccine mandates. When will Americans say enough is enough?
