Looney left creates ‘devotional candle’ for this Democrat, dubs her ‘Patron Saint of 2020’

So much for the idea of “separation of church and state.” Â On Monday, Ryan Teague Beckwith, a politics editor with Time’s D.C. bureau, tweeted an image of a devotional candle that features Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., along with a link to the site where one can purchase the candle.

According to the page at Etsy (Emphasis added):
Tall white altar/ prayer candle featuring the Patron Saint of 2020.
Is America headed for a recession?
The image is photoshopped then printed and pasted to a traditional “7 day” white altar candle. Placement may vary slightly as these are hand-cut and placed. Blue, Yellow, green and red candles also available, but may take additional time.
Say what?
Naturally, the item sparked a fair amount of mockery:

The company which makes the product, Mose Mary and Me, sells a number of devotional candles featuring everyone from RuPaul to Bill Murray, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Gilda Radner. Â Michelle Obama is featured on one while another shows Nicki Minaj with her tongue sticking out. Â In all, the company sells 86 items. Â There’s even a candle that features Elizabeth “Fauxcahontas” Warren.
Of course, no such collection would be complete without Democrat Hillary Clinton, the most evil person ever nominated to the White House by a major party:
Oh yeah — that’s real, and the description defines her as “The Patron Saint of Herstory in the making.”
And there’s one featuring Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders. Â And of course, there’s one attacking President Trump. Â Naturally. Â And to sweeten the deal, you can even add your own face to the candle.
One critic noted:

Another person responded:
As soon as you make one you can take my money.

“Creepy stuff,” Twitchy said. Â We agree wholeheartedly.

Probably a bit of both. Â Certainly, the anti-Trump candle and the overwhelming number of leftist icons make us think there’s a political agenda at work here.
The site has 218 reviews, with many praising the product line.
Stephanie Kauffman, the owner and creator of the shop, notes: “My aunt Mary is my role model for kindness. My grandpa Mose is role model for authenticity. When I create, I think of them. Enjoy our shop!”
