Liz Cheney is a Trump-hater who literally has one focus in life: to get rid of Donald Trump. It’s the air she breathes. She doesn’t focus on her consitutents or the things they need, she focused solely on Trump. In a red state like Wyoming, that was a monstrous mistake. She lost the primary by a whopping 37 points on Tuesday. And after such a crushing defeat, now she’s forming an organization whose entire purpose is to take him down.

Cheney lost to Harriet Hageman, the Trump-backed candidate. But she has “no regrets” on her single focus. She thinks the GOP needs to “return to its roots” and stop focusing on Trump. Talk about hypocrisy, she’s abandoned her entire constituency in favor of focusing on Trump. She formed an organization called “The Great Task” – a coalition of all the Trump-haters to make sure he doesn’t run again. The name comes from the Gettysburg Address, but Cheney is no Abraham Lincoln. Now she says she will make the call about whether she runs for the White House at a later date. Her platform is hate, her focus is hate…just what we don’t need in the White House after the dictatorial term of Biden. She literally can’t see the forest for the trees.
Liz Cheney claims the those following Trump have abandoned their oath. Yet she abandoned her oath long ago. The Constitution has a plethora of rights – she has been focused on destroying the rights of not just Trump, but the defendants of Jan 6. And she and her buddies on the committee haven’t been afraid of twisting the facts to get there.
Cheney holds him responsible for Jan 6, 2021, in spite of the facts surrounding it: the presence of FBI provocateurs, the police brutality displayed, the fact that he specifically told his rally-goers to be peaceful, the opening of doors by Capitol staff and police, and the presence of left-wing rioters dressed as Trump supporters in the crowd. She desperately wants someone to blame and like her cohorts, views it as an insurrection rather than a riot.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
She even tried having her dad, Dick Cheney, create a video that was about as inspiring as a moldy pancake.
Harriet Hagerman is a much better fit for the state of Wyoming. It’s sad that Liz Cheney won’t learn a lesson from all of this, and refuses to repent for her hate. And that goes for her father as well.
