Crow feathers must be the lunch of choice for the liberals these days. After Trump’s alleged “s***hole” remark, some of the mainstream media reported that two US ambassadors resigned because of it. Only, one of those ambassadors doesn’t exist. The other one’s resignation had nothing to do with Trump’s alleged statement.
US Marine veteran and 35 year public servant Ambassador to Panama John Feeley decided to resign back in December. It was announced on January 11, before news went crazy over a remark allegedly made by Trump. But the media instantly attempted to make a connection to the remark that did not exist. And we wonder why we can’t trust the mainstream – aka lamestream – media?

But news spread quickly around Twitter that he left because of the comment made by the President. And somehow, the idea spread that the “Ambassador to Haiti” had resigned as well. The problem? Currently there is no Ambassador to Haiti. The President has appointed Michelle Sison, who was approved for the position back in November, but she has not yet been sworn in, according to the Free Beacon.
The other issue is that at least two of the Senators, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Senator David Perdue (R-GA), who were in attendance at the meeting where Trump allegedly made the profane statement, say that he made no such remark. They stated that Senator Durbin (D-IL), made a “gross misrepresentation” of what was said. The DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen also stated she didn’t recall him saying “s***hole countries,” according to Politico.
All in all, there are several lessons here: first, if you are intensely involved in a conversation, and you are a Republican that everyone hates, “everything you say can and will be used against you.” Secondly, even if you don’t say anything, people will make something up.
