They’re sawing their guns in pieces because they “don’t want the gun to fall into the wrong hands.” A bunch of folks have started the #Onelessgun movement. It should be #Onemoreidiot. They all claim to be “responsible gun owners” or who used to like guns. We should call them out as liars on that point. They are closet liberals that happened to own guns.
Amanda Meyer from Connecticut is one of those people who posted a video on Facebook showing her cutting a .40 P229 in pieces.
“If I sell this gun, it may get to the hands of a normal person, a mass murderer or a suicide victim. And there’s no way that I can know where it ends up, especially if it changes hands a few times. The only way I can know for sure that this gun doesn’t hurt anyone is that it doesn’t exist…
It’s something I wanted to do for a long time and when the shooting happened it took me over the edge. Over time, the gun becomes part of your identity and it’s harder to get out of it than you think. It takes over your life. I was feeling uncomfortable for my morality and no longer wanted to participate in the gun culture.”
Note her statement holds numerous untrue liberal talking points. “Don’t know where it will end up.” “Something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.””Gun becomes part of your identity.” “It takes over your life.” “…uncomfortable for my ‘morality.'” “gun culture.” She’s having an emotional reaction – partly to her own brother’s suicide by gun – and has picked up the liberal view.
Thank you, Amanda, and thank you to hopefully many others that will join in this important and meaningful movement. #oneless #onelessgun pic.twitter.com/2G1ESGthPd

The tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School was just that: a tragedy. Law enforcement officials at the FBI dropped the ball so badly that 17 people lost their lives, 14 of whom had not even reached the prime of their lives. The laws were in place, the people charged with paying attention to threats were not.
This could become like the #IceBucketChallenge for gun-owners. #OneLessGun https://t.co/AunUMj09gl

I watched a video on FB of an AR-15 owner named Scott-Dani Pappalardo sawing his gun in half. After everything that’s happened with that gun he can’t bear to own it anymore, and he doesn’t want anyone to own it either. I wish others would follow his lead.#OneLess #OneLessGun pic.twitter.com/PLTuNvJF8w

The liberal view of the Florida school shooting is backwards. Where most of us look at it and say that armed security is needed because the FBI and local authorities were worthless in the situation, these fools think that destroying a weapon will stop a mentally ill person or criminal from attacking our kids. It sincerely doesn’t work that way. They are just #onemoreidiot.
