Liberals triggered after Vanity Fair suggests Hillary take up knitting to keep from running again — Video

On Saturday, Vanity Fair posted a video suggesting various New Year’s resolutions for Hillary Clinton, the most evil person ever nominated to the White House by a major party. Among other things, the video suggested Clinton take up a hobby — like knotting — to help keep her from running again. Naturally, this didn’t sit too well with Clinton supporters.
The video, captioned, “Six New Year’s Resolutions for Hillary Clinton; Vanity Fair’s Hive editors make six New Year’s resolutions for Hillary Clinton in 2018,” featured six staffers holding what appears to be a glass of champagne as they suggest New Year’s resolutions for Hillary to make.
1: “It’s time to start working on your sequel to your book What Happened: What the Hell Happened?.”
2: “Get someone on your tech staff to disable autofill on your iPhone so that typing in “F” doesn’t become “Form Exploratory Committee for 2020″.”
3: “You know on Anderson Cooper you were telling him about alternate nostril breathing? You seem really adept. You should try teaching a class.”
4: “Take more photos in the woods. How else are you going to meet unsuspecting hikers?”
5: “Take up a new hobby in the new year. Volunteer work, knitting, improv comedy, literally anything that’ll keep you from running again.”
6: “To finally put away your James Comey voodoo doll. Now we all know you think that James Comey cost you the election–and he might have–but so did a handful of other things. It’s a year later and time to move on.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The video ends with three of the staffers speaking solo to Hillary: “So cheers to you Hillary Clinton.” “Cheers to you, Hillary.” “Cheers to you, Hillary.”
Here’s just some of the reaction to Vanity Fair’s light-hearted video:
Doing cutesy mean satire to appeal to millennials' hatred of Hillary Clinton is beneath you. Or it used to be. The only way to save yourself is to do this to Bernie and Biden. Oh, and FU to everyone who participated.

Seriously? Trump is destroying the country, and THIS is the crap you're focused on? What next, "her emails?" Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Maybe that’s because the primaries were rigged against him…

Apparently, joking about Hillary is off-limits.
The hate flowed freely on Twitter:
Six New Year’s Resolutions for Vanity Fair’s Hive Editors: 1) Don’t make videos on Ambien 2) Show some fucking respect to the 1st female Presidential nominee of a major political party & the former 1st lady & Secretary of State 3) Learn what funny is 4) Fuck off 5) see 4 6) see 5

Hillary worshiper Peter Daou called the video sexist:
Repugnant. Sexist. And yet another example of why the problem was less Russia and the GOP but the mainstream media, who treated @HillaryClinton with dripping disdain for the duration of the 2016 election. And for all of 2017. Ugh.
Now back to my break… https://t.co/7CmJBWV5xM

Talk about fake news… Apparently, Daou wasn’t paying much attention during the election.
I ended 2015 defending Hillary Clinton from sexist attacks.
I ended 2016 defending Hillary Clinton from sexist attacks.
I'm ending 2017 defending @HillaryClinton from sexist attacks.
So much for my Twitter break…— Peter Daou (@peterdaou) December 27, 2017
Oddly enough, Vanity Fair’s “Hive” drips with Trump-hatred, and at the time of this writing, features a post asking: “Will 2018 be the end of the Trump presidency?”
Another post declares: “Why Trump’s golf habit is the ultimate metaphor for his bizarre presidency.”
The site also posted a New Year’s resolutions video for White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders that is mild by comparison and has so far garnered very little attention. In that video, one staffer suggests Sanders team up with Vermont Socialist Bernie Sanders… Just so they can yell at each other.
