On Wednesday, the Vatican acknowledged that Pope Francis met secretly with Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who was jailed for refusing to obey a judge’s order to violate state law by issuing marriage licenses to gay couples.
Liberals and the so-called “mainstream media,” known here as the “Democrat-media complex,” instantly went berserk. The reason? Instead of beating the Kentucky Christian to death, he wished her well and even gave her some rosaries.

That news didn’t sit well with the liberal media — who had staked a claim with the pope since he arrived on the scene more than two years ago. After he made comments about the environment and refrained from taking a hard-line stance on hot-button social issues, the left assumed the pope was on their side. Francis threw them all through the loop when the news broke that he did, in fact, meet with the left’s current enemy, Kim Davis. He allegedly even prayed for her. (Cue the raised pitchforks!)

According to his Twitter bio, Drucker is a writer for the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. He also claims to be a comedian.

Since the Kim Davis controversy erupted, Christophobes on both sides of the political aisle (yes, there are conservatives who hate Christianity every bit as much as liberals) have made it clear they wanted Davis beaten, raped, hung, drawn and quartered, disemboweled, burned at the stake and the remains fed to the dogs. Gay marriage supporters have also said her husband should be killed and their house burned down. This, of course, is the new definition of “tolerance.”
But Pope Francis didn’t do that. Instead, he prayed with her and showed some Christian compassion and understanding.
And pro-gay leftists can’t stand it.
