Liberal Univ. of Virginia Professor Claims Whites Only Marry Asians Because They are Racists

A left-wing University of Virginia professor is claiming that white people — especially white men — only want to go out with or marry Asians because whites are racists.

Yes, you read that right. Sylvia Chong thinks you are racist if you want to hang around with the people you hate.

The news of this hackneyed, woke foolishness was broken by Campus Reform, which noted that Associate Professor of English and American Studies, and the Director of Minor in Asian Pacific American Studies Sylvia Chong delivered this nonsense in a recent TED talk sponsored by the University of Virginia’s Kappa Delta Phi and Sigma Psi Zeta sororities.

Chong says that even “white feminists” engage in racism and “denigrate and exoticize Asian women abroad as victims of their patriarchal societies, victims of capitalism, victims of poverty and war.”

Chong adds that white people take “sexual agency” away from Asian women.

And white men are even worse when they go out with or marry Asian women.

She warned Asian women to be suspicious of any white man who might want to date or marry them.

“I’m not trying to [denigrate] anyone’s relationships, but how do you know that you’re in a relationship for who you are, rather than what someone imagines you to be?” Chong exclaimed. “Are you seeing me? Are you seeing the shadow of the Page Act? Are you seeing Miss Saigon with the college degree?”

So, to recap, this woman claims that the only reason white men go out with or want to marry an Asian woman is because they have a “racist” vision of sexual power over Asian women. They don’t want to be with an Asian women for herself, this nut claims, only for that racist vision in their head.

Uh, huh. Sure.

What happened to the left’s claim that “love is love”?
