Liberal Mob in San Francisco Pulls Down Statue of Ulysses S. Grant, Francis Scott Key (Video)

On Friday, the perpetual left-wing outrage mob in San Francisco pulled down a statue of Ulysses S. Grant and Francis Scott Key in San Francisco, Breitbart reported, citing The Hill and other sources.

Grant, for those who slept during that part of U.S. history, was the man who led the Union Army during the first Civil War.  As president, he smashed the KKK, the militant arm of the Democrat Party that terrorized blacks in the South after the war.

Key, for those not familiar with history, was the man who penned “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the War of 1812.

According to police, 400 mobsters gathered to pull the statue down.  No arrests were made.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Atlantic staff writer Adam Serwer posted the following on Twitter:

Here’s video:

Unhinged low-information leftists across the country are currently engaged in a jihad against U.S. history, and have toppled statues of a number of prominent historical figures, including George Washington.  And let’s not forget that a co-founder of Black Lives Matter, one of the main groups in this jihad against America, has admitted to the organization’s Marxism.

It’s enough to make one think they really do want a second, bloody civil war.
