Liberal lie: Man presented as dissatisfied 2016 Trump voter in pro-Democrat ad NEVER voted in 2016 (Video)

A Pennsylvania man portrayed as a dissatisfied 2016 Trump voter in a pro-Democrat Party ad put out by the left-wing PAC, American Bridge, never even voted in 2016, the New York Times confirmed in early December.

The man, identified as Mark Graham, claimed in the ad that he voted for Trump in 2016.

“I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 because I thought he would make a change,” he said in the ad.

According to Penn Live:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Asked whether change has occurred, Graham replies “Not for the good.” Graham later states Trump “plays favorites for people like himself … He doesn’t understand life around here.”

The ad began running in the Erie area in November. Earlier this month, Erie-area news organization JET 24 checked county voting records and discovered Graham didn’t vote in 2016.

In a subsequent interview, Graham told Erie News Now he’s a registered Republican who participated in a focus group involving Republicans who supported Democrat Ron DiNicola in his unsuccessful 2018 run for U.S. Congress.

The left-wing New York Times even featured Graham in two stories about so-called “dissatisfied” Trump voters and swing voters, the report said.

But the Times admitted on December 10 that Graham did not vote in the election at all:

After this article was published, local news media reported that Mark Graham, a voter featured in the American Bridge ad campaign and another article by The Times, did not vote in the 2016 election; The Times has confirmed those reports. While Mr. Graham acknowledged misspeaking about his voting record, he said the Times article and the ad campaign accurately reflect his feelings about the 2016 race and President Trump’s performance in office.

This begs the question: Why didn’t the Times verify this BEFORE writing not one, but TWO reports?

The reason is obvious.  The so-called “mainstream media” is so anti-Trump that it refuses to conduct even a modicum of fact-checking.

So we have a PAC that puts out a false ad featuring a “Trump voter” who never voted AND the media lets the lie sit out there for weeks before doing any fact-checking.

Here’s the false ad:

According to PennLive, the Pennsylvania Republican Party is demanding American Bridge pull the ad and apologize.

“The ad is false, its premise is false and it’s messenger has been discredited,” state GOP Chairman Lawrence Tabas said. “The organization could easily have determined that Graham had not voted in 2016 by checking the publicly available records at the Erie County elections office.”

But, PennLive said, the ad is still on the American Bridge website in its original form.  Naturally…
