Leftist Rioter John Sullivan Paid $35,000 for His Capitol Violence Videos

John Sullivan, the leftist rioter from Utah, was paid $35,000 by both CNN and NBC for his videos of violence on Capitol Hill from January 6th. It’s good to know that a socialist-anarchist agitator can claim to be a journalist, stir up the people to violent actions, and then get paid for it. Capitalism at its finest. Since CNN was present at the riot, this smells all wrong.

A federal judge didn’t ban the leftist rioter from using Twitter and Facebook, even with his past history of inciting violence.

A federal magistrate judge has turned down prosecutors’ effort to block a man accused of participating in the Capitol riot from using Twitter and Facebook, but ordered him to end his involvement with a business he founded that the Justice Department says promotes and glorifies violent protests.

It also appears that a Utah judge did ban him from about 13 other platforms previously. Because he has different “handles” that cross-promote each other, it is unclear how many of them he can access now. The business he founded is Insurgence USA, that regularly promotes the idea of “revolution.” Sullivan was hit with more charges a few days ago.

Federal court documents show John Sullivan, 26, of Utah, who initially faced three counts including civil disorder and disorderly conduct, now faces three new charges: obstruction of an official proceeding, disorderly conduct in a capitol building and demonstrating in a capitol building.

We wrote about his Capitol riot involvement previously, where he stirred up the people by yelling things like “Let’s burn this shit down.” CNN and NBC had to know not only about his involvement in the riot, but his background of violence as well, since he was arrested back in Utah for his involvement in a violent riot in which a man was shot. Many of his social media postings had the #antifa tag, which he claimed were just because he was “antifascist” like “everybody is.”

John Sullivan infiltrated the January 6th rally by wearing a pro-Trump hat then used that position to agitate the crowd. He also had a gas mask, tactical vest, and a knife – all of which smacks of pre-planned actions. CNN appears to have known about it.

Remember this video from August 2020? John Earle Sullivan was widely described as a BLM/Antifa activist long before January 6th. CNN and likely NBC absolutely knew.

So, yes, CNN/NBC had to have known about his activities as a leftist rioter, and with no integrity whatseover, they paid him thousands of dollars for his “work.”

Politico reporter Kyle Cheney released receipts of the payments made to the leftist rioter. Sullivan’s defense attorney released them to the court to provide “evidence” that the leftist rioter was a “journalist.” Not. BLM/Antifa agitator, not a journalist.

The leftist rioter was paid an exorbitant amount of money by NBC and CNN, as well as a couple of smaller amounts by the Australian Broadcast Company and something called Left/Right Media, LLC. CNN knew of his activities and certainly knew of his background. Paying someone for videos of a major incident is normal business for news media – knowingly paying a leftist rioter whose agenda was to “burn this shit down” is something else. Especially when CNN was present with other agitators at the time of the riot.
