Left-wing Guardian writer calls for assassination of Donald Trump
On Tuesday night, Monisha Rajesh, a features writer for the left-wing Guardian and the author of the upcoming book, “Around India in 80 Trains,” issued a tweet calling for the assassination of President-elect Donald Trump.
“[I]t’s about time for a presidential assassination,” she wrote on Twitter, responding to another Twitter user who called Tuesday’s election victory a “Nazi-like atrocity.”
Here’s a screenshot of her tweet, captured by the Gateway Pundit:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Although she didn’t explicitly mentioned Trump by name, her meaning was quite clear.
Shortly after this, she marked her Twitter account private:
According to Mediaite, Rajesh “…took the age-old advice and deleted her Twitter account,” part of which can still be seen here. The cached version of her feed, however, does not include the offensive tweet.

Rajesh is by no means alone in her desire to see Trump murdered. Since Tuesday’s historic election, a number of liberals have advocated killing Trump and those who voted for him. Several GoFundMe pages were established in an effort to fund Trump’s murder and were deleted shortly after we reported them.
Riots have broken out across America in what appears to be a concerted effort by the left to enact a coup d’etat. One protester told CNN on video that people “have to die” to keep Trump out of the White House.
Thousands of leftists have signed a petition demanding that the Electoral College ignore the will of the voters and unilaterally install Democrat Hillary Clinton as President.
In February 2011, I first said that liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of rage and hate. Liberals like Rajesh prove that assertion correct on just about any given day.
Now it appears liberals are working to foment violent, armed insurrection to get their way.
Exit question: Does the Guardian approve her message?
