Earlier this month, the largest Tea Party group on Facebook endorsed Idaho House GOP candidate Michael Snyder in his bid to replace Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, who is running to become Governor of the Gem State.

Snyder is a staunch conservative who supports President Donald Trump and has stated categorically that all “RINOs” have to go — and he’s very outspoken about his beliefs.

“They sound good getting in, but won’t speak out. We gave them control and yet this is where we are,” he told Conservative Firing Line Editor-in-Chief Joe Newby last July.

Newby added:

It’s not the first time he’s said that.  In a recent article at Investment Watch Blog, he wrote: “Unless we are able to start kicking the RINOs out of Congress, most of Trump’s agenda is going to go nowhere.”

Snyder referred to Sen. John McCain, the Arizona Republican who, despite his campaign promises, voted against two measures to repeal Obamacare, including the so-called “skinny” repeal that would have removed the individual mandate and scale back Obamacare taxes.

The list, Snyder said, calling the current Congress the “least active” in 164 years, goes on and on.

“Radical Islam,” he said, “has declared war on us.  If we don’t fight back, they’ll win.”  But, he added, politicians “don’t even want to talk about it” for fear of being called names.

Here’s just a few of his tweets:

He’s also been active helping to recruit other pro-Trump candidates:

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter even issued a tweet supportive of Snyder:

He’s also spoken out in support of the Second Amendment:

The left has decided that the great tragedy that we just witnessed down in Florida is an opportunity to try to grab our guns. We are witnessing an all-out assault on the 2nd Amendment like we haven’t seen in decades, and this will undoubtedly be one of the most hotly debated issues as we head into the 2018 mid-term elections. I will never compromise a single inch when it comes to the 2nd Amendment, but unfortunately not all politicians are willing to take the same stand. In fact, some of my opponents publicly indicated that they were willing to compromise on gun issues even before the tragedy in Florida took place.

“I live in north Idaho, and I sleep very well at night because I know that virtually everybody is armed. If some thieves decided that it would be a good idea to start breaking into homes at night, they would have extremely short criminal careers,” he said.  “Gun control is never the answer. Just look at Chicago. It has some of the toughest gun laws in the entire nation and yet murder and other forms of violent crime are completely out of control.”

He also issued a stern warning: “If we do not vote, we may wake up some day and find that our 2nd Amendment rights are gone for good. The left is absolutely determined to destroy this country, and we are not going to allow that to happen.”

In short, Snyder is the kind of Republican we want to see elected to Washington — he supports the president, he’s pro-life, pro-Second Amendment and pro-America.

We encourage everyone in Idaho’s First Congressional District to visit Michael’s website, contribute what you can, volunteer and vote for Michael in the upcoming May 15 primary.
