LA Times reporter on Twitter: ‘I would rather see Trump’s life end’

LA Times reporter wants Trump dead
Borowiec — Twitter

As we’ve said time and again, liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of rage and hate.  Sadly liberals prove that assertion correct on just about any given day.  This time, the “hate-r-aid” comes from one Steven Borowiec, a reporter for the Los Angeles Times who, according to his Twitter bio, covers North and South Korea.

Early Thursday morning, he tweeted this:

borowiec tweet trump dead

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Tolerance, indeed.  Liberal-style.

It seems he got quite a lot of blowback for the tweet, because he later deleted it and posted this:

Jest?  Are you kidding me?  What kind of “responsible journalist” makes a “joke” about the death of a major party presidential candidate?

Inquiring minds wanted to know:

How about it, Steven?

I seriously doubt that.  The so-called “mainstream media,” known here as the “Democrat-media complex” has made it clear their job is to get Hillary Clinton elected.  The way things are these days, he’s liable to get a raise and a promotion.

See my first paragraph, above…

A tweet from WND observed:

I agree.

Paul Joseph Watson observed:

This is not the first time that a journalist working for a major publication has “joked” about wanting to see Trump dead.

Back in February, New York Times columnist Ross Douthat caused outrage after he joked about how an assassination attempt could end Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Naturally, because in the collective hive “mind” of the media, it’s okay to “joke” about Republicans dying.  Because no such thing as media bias, or so we’re told…

No doubt, if he had said this about Hillary Clinton, he’d be canned so fast his head would still be spinning…

Update: The LA Times has fired Borowiec over the tweet.  In a statement to Breitbart, the Times said:

The Los Angeles Times is committed to fair, evenhanded coverage of the presidential campaign, and expects all journalists representing the paper, including non-staff contributors such as Mr. Borowiec, to adhere to this standard in their articles and social media posts.

We regard Mr. Borowiec’s comment as inexcusable, and we have ended our relationship with him.

Good.
