KNOWN TO AUTHORITIES: Mom Warned FBI FedEx Shooter Might Try ‘Suicide-By-Cop’… Last Year

This mom did the hard thing, the right thing, and might have saved the lives of 8 people, besides her troubled son, had the FBI seen the same danger she did.

The FBI has been given advance warning before a number of incidents — including the January 6th riots (where they did nothing) and now, the FedEx killings.

We now know more about the killer than we did when we first reported it.

For one thing, there was a connection between the business and the killer. He had worked there.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The 19-year-old FedEx shooting suspect, who killed eight people late Thursday and injured seven others, was reported to law enforcement officials last year by his mother, officials said Friday afternoon.

The mother reported the suspect, whose name has been withheld per Daily Wire policy, to law enforcement in March 2020 out of concern that he might try to commit “suicide by cop,” FBI special agent for Indianapolis Paul Keenan said in a statement Friday.

“The suspect was placed on immediate detention mental health temporary hold by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department,” Keenan said of the 2020 incident with the suspect. “A shotgun was seized at his residence. Based on items observed in the suspect’s bedroom at that time, he was interviewed by the FBI in April 2020.”

Keenan said that “no criminal violation was found,” and the suspect didn’t indicate support for any racially motivated ideological extremism while he was under assessment. The shotgun wasn’t returned. — DailyWire

Do you see anything weird in that statement?

Racially-motivated extremism?

We have no problem with deterring violence, whoever it might be directed against, but what’s race got to do with suicidal tendencies?

It seems a strangely specific set of parameters when the original phone call from mom seemed to be mainly concerned about suicidal tendencies.

Is it conclusive that this was racially motivated? Not necessarily.

Police Chief Randal Taylor noted that a “significant” number of employees at the FedEx facility are members of the Sikh community, and the Sikh Coalition later issued a statement saying it was “sad to confirm” that at least four of those killed were community members. —ABC

The same ABC article says “[the killer] began firing randomly at people in the parking lot of the FedEx facility late Thursday, killing four, before entering the building, fatally shooting four more people and then turning the gun on himself, McCartt said.”

Obviously, we don’t know the ‘how’ or the ‘why’, but for some reason the decision-makers at the FBI decided to close the file after they met with him last year.

Now, eight people are dead, besides the troubled son himself.

This story leaves us with a couple of questions.

1) Do we have any statistics on suicide-by-cop?
2) What percentage of that media narrative of ‘rampaging’ cops is driven by suicidal people too gutless to take their own lives who put cops into situations where lethal force is required? (How would that knowledge change the narrative?)
3) What other dangerous situations have the FBI been blind to in their zeal for chasing phantom ‘white supremacist domestic terrorists’?
4) Why does the FBI keep dropping the ball on situations like these?

If you see something, say something. That IS the slogan, isn’t it?

That mom did all the right things. She nearly saved her son’s life, and the lives of 8 strangers.

Despite her best efforts, the only thing she’s left with now is the haunting woulda, coulda, shoulda questions all-too-familiar to anyone who’s lost someone to suicide.

It takes courage to do the right thing the way that mom did.
