In a video posted to Twitter on Monday, Keith Olbermann, the former face of hate for MSNBC and the current face of liberal hate for GQ, melted down in an angry (is there any other kind with Olbermann?) rant in which he declared that the United States is “at war with Russia” and President-elect Donald Trump is a puppet put in power by Vladimir Putin.

Olbermann left out the part where the Office of the Director on National Intelligence — you know, the agency that coordinates all of the U.S. intel agencies — doesn’t agree with those leaked CIA findings:
He also seems to have forgotten that it’s not his job to declare war…

The overseers of the U.S. intelligence community have not embraced a CIA assessment that Russian cyber attacks were aimed at helping Republican President-elect Donald Trump win the 2016 election, three American officials said on Monday.
While the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) does not dispute the CIA’s analysis of Russian hacking operations, it has not endorsed their assessment because of a lack of conclusive evidence that Moscow intended to boost Trump over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, said the officials, who declined to be named.
“And that’s why Olbermann is so unhinged,” Twitchy added.
In reality, Olbermann has been unhinged for years, but this rant would seem to go far beyond “unhinged.” Homicidal, perhaps? It almost sounds as if he wants Trump murdered, given that he seemed to call for “drastic” measures against Trump.
Naturally, his demands and alleged “analysis” prompted a great deal of mockery.
