Dem Rep. Keith Ellison: Having a national border ‘creates an injustice’ — Video

According to Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., having a national border “creates an injustice,” the Daily Wire reported on Wednesday.

Ellison, who also serves as a deputy chair of the DNC, made the claim during a recent interview with Rabbi Michael Lerner, editor-in-chief of Tikkun Magazine.

“Since NAFTA, Mexican wages have dropped between nine and thirteen percent,” Ellison said. “Now, some people have said to me, oh, Keith, that’s too bad for them. And my answer is, no that’s too bad for us because that means those people are going to be a low wage sector not only in Mexico, but here in the United States. And the undocumented worker is an exploited worker.”

“We just have to say that the 12 million undocumented people in the United States are here because somebody wants them to be,” he added. “But they want them here to do the work, but they don’t want them to get any rights. They don’t want to pay them fairly.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

He continued: “And labor, which is a regular person, cannot travel back and forth across the border. And so corporations, certain people who get certain rights, can go back and forth across the border seeking out the lowest wages, but people, regular people, cannot go back and forth across the border seeking out the highest wages. So what it creates is an imbalance. It creates an injustice.”

Naturally, that means America must get rid of its border, right, Keith?  And while we’re at it, let’s get rid of ICE…

Here’s video of Ellison’s statement:

This, by the way, is the same Keith Ellison who was spotted wearing a shirt advocating no borders whatsoever.

According to the Washington Examiner:

A video posted online Monday shows a Democratic Party leader wearing a T-shirt calling for an end to U.S. borders while participating in a local May Day parade in Minnesota last Friday.

Democratic National Committee deputy chair Keith Ellison, D-Minn., wore a black shirt that read, “Yo no creo en fronteras.”

In English, that sentence translates to, “I don’t believe in borders.”

No wonder so many people are walking away from the Democrat Party…
