Justice for J6 Protest: 100 National Guard to Assist Metro PD, Capitol Police. Fences Return.

SecDef Austin has authorized 100 National Guard members to assist Metro PD and Capitol Police in securing the ‘Justice for J6’ protest set for Saturday, September 18, in DC. The 7 foot fences were also back around the Capitol as well. Is it plain old paranoia or a set up?

President Trump believes it’s another setup. The 7 foot fences are back at the US Capitol, and police are gearing up for a bunch of ”insurrectionists” attacking them. The 100 National Guard members from the DC contingent will be stationed at the armory about 40 minutes away.

“Should the Capitol Police require assistance, they will first utilize local, state, and Federal law enforcement capabilities before requesting the deployment of the Physical Security Task Force. The task force will only be deployed upon request of the Capitol Police to help protect the U.S. Capitol Building and Congressional Office buildings by manning building entry points and verifying credentials of individuals seeking access to the building.”

US Army Lt Col Chris Mitchell, Pentagon spokesman

Supposedly “intelligence reports” have advised that Proud Boys and Oath Keepers plan to attend. But according to the permit, less than 1,000 are expected to show up for the protest. (Military Times)

This event may indeed be a setup of some sort. Though the protesters may simply want to stand for those who are imprisoned for their role in the Jan 6 riot, the Democrats are probably hoping for them to malfunction so they can point to the protest as more of the ‘insurrectionists’ who tried to overthrow the government.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The media narrative goes something like this:

The troops join a number of local law enforcement agencies supporting the Capitol Police in preparation for the “Justice for J6” rally, where demonstrators will be backing people who invaded the Capitol in a failed attempt to overturn President Biden’s election victory.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department will have an increased presence around the city, with numerous street closures set to go into effect, a move intended to prevent similar events from occurring.

Seven-foot fencing that was erected around the Capitol grounds the day after Jan. 6 was reinstalled Wednesday night in preparation for this weekend.

As we have stated before, if the Jan 6th riot was an insurrection that was trying to overturn the election result, it was poorly executed and poorly planned. Six Capitol police officers are being investigated for helping the people access the Capitol building. Likely they assumed it was just another peaceful Trump rally.

We sincerely hope that the Justice for J6 protest goes smoothly and none of them get arrested for even dropping chewing gum on the sidewalk. Those who have been imprisoned since Jan 6 are in a politically problematic situation and need all the support they can get.
