Haroon Aswat tried to set up a terror training camp in Bly, Oregon, back in 1999. He was taken into custody in 2005 in Zambia. (This was back when we had a president who considered radical Muslim training camps to be illegal) However, he gets credit for time served, ten years, so he becomes eligible for parole in seven years. Now that he has received his sentence, he can apply to serve the remainder of his time in his native England. If granted, it would still need England’s approval.
Aswat was described as the personal assistant to terrorist Abu Hamza. Hamza was convicted for terrorist acts in 2014 for which he was given a life sentence. Hamza is credited with inspiring the Paris Massacre and various terror attacks in Yemen as well as setting up the terror camp in Bly, Oregon. Hamza was the Imam of the Finsbury Park Mosque in North London, where he taught followers how to radicalize and inspired them to perpetrate terrorist acts across the globe.
Aswat pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy, providing material support for Al Qaeda and to trying to build the terrorist training camp in Oregon. I wonder how long before CAIR starts having rallies starring some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Obama declaring if he had a son, he would look like Aswat and Hillary and Bernie declaring the judge sentenced Aswat because of innate racism.
Newsmax interviewed Martin Mawyer, president of the Christian Action Network. Mawyer told Newsmax that Muslims of the Americas, which is led by Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, has been operating in the United States for thirty years. When they were accused of running a program radicalizing followers and training them in jihad, Gilani told them they could check it out for themselves. When Christian Action Network showed up to take Gilani’s invitation, they were denied entrance.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
“They frequently want to play the card that they’re just peaceful Muslims trying to raise their own kids, grow their own agriculture and live a sustainable Muslim life. Anybody that doubts that … come to their property and take a look.”
Hopefully, we will get a real president in 2017 that will once again consider terrorism a crime instead of Christianity.
