On Sunday, Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro defended Donald Trump Jr., saying that she would meet with the Devil to get opposition research on a political candidate, The Hill reported.
“As someone who’s run for office five times, if the Devil called me and said he wanted to set up a meeting to give me opposition research on my opponent, I’d be on the first trolley to Hell to get it,” she said.
“And any politician who tells you otherwise is a bald-faced liar,” she added.

The Fox News host also defended Trump Jr. against accusations that he had broken a law by setting up the meeting.
“There is no law that says a campaign cannot accept information from a foreign government,” Pirro said.
The Federal Election Campaign Act makes it illegal for any foreign national to contribute, donate, or spend funds on any election in the United States by any foreign national. That includes foreign governments, political parties, corporations and individuals with foreign citizenship.
Trump Jr.’s meeting with the Russian lawyer, which was also attended by White House senior adviser and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort, took place at Trump Tower in June 2016.
“I’m even convinced they see dead people, too,” she said of the leftists pushing the Trump-Russia conspiracy theories.

She remarked on former president Obama’s close relationship with Russia, mentioning the hot mike moment when Obama told the outgoing Russian president Dmitry Medvedev that “after my election I have more flexibility.”
Obama also “put the fox in charge of the hen house,” Judge Jeanine said, when he let Russian President Vladimir Putin take over the elimination of chemical weapons in Syria, which did not happen.
“So folks, it’s Barack Obama who’s pals with Putin,” the judge commented.
Obama also “meddled” in Israel’s election, donating almost $350,000 to a non-profit to defeat conservative Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Democrats have spent their time “freaking out” that “the Russians are coming” and “Chicken Little and the sky are falling,” Pirro said.
“And if it doesn’t stop, the Democrats and the Democrats alone will be responsible for the demise of a workable and effective government of the people,” she concluded.
Let’s not forget that Democrats met with officials of the Ukrainian government in an effort to undermine Donald Trump.

California Rep. Adam Schiff said Sunday that fellow Washington Democrats acted “inappropriately” if they indeed met with Ukrainian officials to get potentially damaging information on 2016 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump — amid widespread probes, allegations and revelations about the Trump campaign meeting with Russian officials to try to derail Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
“It wouldn’t be appropriate for the Democrats to get help from the Ukrainian government,” Schiff, the top Democrat on the House’s Intelligence committee, which is investigating the Russian meddling, told ABC’s “This Week.” “It would be problematic to get any kind of support from a foreign government.”
The White House and Trump allies in recent days have pointed to a reported meeting last year between a Democratic National Committee consultant and officials at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington. They spoke amid recent revelations about Trump campaign officials accepting a meeting in June 2016 with a Russian lawyer, on the possibility of potentially damaging information on Clinton.
But, Schiff said, the meeting with Ukrainian officials is nothing compared to Trump’s actions. Fox added:
While Schiff acknowledged that Democrats seeking such information on Trump from Ukrainian officials would be inappropriate, he said that doesn’t compare to what Russia did in the 2016 White House race.
The U.S. intelligence community has largely concluded that Russia meddled to hurt Clinton’s bid, including hacking emails from the DNC and others related to her presidential campaign.
“I think to compare the two is a bit like comparing a bank robbery with writing a check with insufficient funds,” Schiff told ABC.
