John Kerry to Palestinian official in London: Trump will not remain in office long — Report

On Wednesday, Newsmax reported that former Secretary of State John Kerry met with Hussein Agha, an associate of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, in London and told him that President Trump would not be in office long, citing a report at the Jerusalem Post.

According to reports, Kerry told Agha to tell Abbas “hold on and be strong.” He also said Abbas “should stay strong in his spirit and play for time, that he will not break and will not yield to President Trump’s demands.”

The Post said that Agha is one of Abbas’s closest associates and one of the veteran peacemakers with Israel.

The report adds:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

According to Kerry, Trump will not remain in office for a long time. It was reported that Kerry said that within a year there was a good chance that Trump would not be in the White House.

Kerry offered his help to the Palestinians in an effort to advance the peace process and recommended that Abbas present his own peace plan. “Maybe it is time for the Palestinians to define their peace principles and present a positive plan,” Kerry suggested.

He promised to use all his contacts and all his abilities to get support for such a plan.

Kerry also reportedly asked Abbas, through Agha, not to attack the United States or the Trump administration, but to concentrate on personal attacks on Trump himself, whom Kerry says is solely and directly responsible for the situation in the Middle East.

It gets worse.  The report further says Kerry used highly derogatory terms when referring to the president.

Ben Caspit further said:

Kerry hinted that many in the American establishment, as well as in American intelligence, are dissatisfied with Trump’s performance and the way he leads their country.

He surprised his interlocutor by saying he was seriously considering running for president in 2020. When asked about his advanced age, he said he was not much older than Trump and would not have an age problem.

Kerry explained, according to the report, that even in the Republican Party they do not know what to do with Trump and are very dissatisfied with him and that patience and breathing time are needed to get through this difficult period.

“Kerry,” Caspit said, “is an old friend of Netanyahu and has been a consistent supporter of Israel for decades. He believes that a genuine peace process is essential for both sides and for the survival of the State of Israel, and that the two-state solution is the only realistic option that will enable Israel to continue to maintain its character as a Jewish democratic state.”

Many on Twitter responded angrily, calling Kerry a traitor who violated federal law:

The Logan Act is a federal statute that makes it a crime “for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization.”

There’s other questions that needs to be answered: What makes Kerry think Trump will be out of office within a year?  What does Kerry know and when did he know it?
