Jim Baker was one of James Comey’s FBI lawyers. After his resignation from the Bureau during the high profile Russiagate mess, he was hired by then-Twitter officials. To do what, exactly? To make sure what was released was all protective of the platform, if course. (not) When Musk found out that he was trying to “vet” the releases Musk was giving to journalists Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss, he was livid. Baker was “exited” from Twitter. Goodbye, so long, it hasn’t been good to know ya.

You read that correctly- as soon as Musk learned of Baker’s role, he kicked him to the curb. About darned time. These piranhas of the political realm are attempting to cause the death of America from the inside out. And they’re doing a d***** good job of it.

The tranche of links Musk released is only the tip of a very deep iceberg. Miranda Devine, the journalist from the New York Post who broke the Hunter Laptop story noticed immediately that the links released on Friday from Twitter were missing their connection to the FBI. Musk says there will be more revelations to come, and we bet there may be more heads rolling in the process.
In a new Twitter thread on Tuesday, Taibbi alleged that Baker had been fired after he was discovered ‘vetting’ the internal documents before their release, and delaying the release of a second tranche of files to Taibbi and another journalist, Bari Weiss.
Taibbi wrote that ‘new management,’ meaning Musk, was not aware of Baker’s role in reviewing the files before their release.
Taibbi tweeted: ‘The process for producing the “Twitter Files” involved delivery to two journalists (Bari Weiss and me) via a lawyer close to new management. However, after the initial batch, things became complicated.
‘Over the weekend, while we both dealt with obstacles to new searches, it was @bariweiss who discovered that the person in charge of releasing the files was someone named Jim. When she called to ask ‘Jim’s’ last name, the answer came back: ‘Jim Baker.’
