Jan. 6 Committee’s ‘Star Witness’ Cassidy Hutchinson Called Pelosi’s Show Trial ‘B.S.’ In Text Message

The ‘hero’ to ‘zero’ cycle for Cassidy Hutchinson has flipped even faster than it did for Michael Avenatti and Jussie Smollett.

There are a few die-hard journos clinging to her claims, as are the Witch-hunt RINOS in the J6 Committee who have shown themselves desperate to turn this into a criminal investigation into Trump — but it’s hard to take seriously a hearsay ‘investigation’ that has zero cross-examination.

Her testimony is being received by the public with a salt-lick-sized ‘grain’ of salt.

Especially since CNN had a direct role in helping connect Hutchenson and Cheyney to bring this ‘new testimony’ to light in the first place.

But before she finally agreed to come to the committee hearings, texts show that she had a very dim view of the people who had calling her to respond to the subpoena. She can say whatever she wants about ‘different lawyers’, but this is in her own words.

DailyCaller got a copy of an email Hutchinson sent reaching out to someone connected to CPAC and asking about what PACs might help her know how to respond to the subpoena.

She makes it clear exactly what she thinks of the actions the J6 Committee has taken in the words she used to describe it.

In the text message, Hutchinson says: “Hey (redacted)! This is Cassidy Hutchinson. Kind of a random question, but do you still work for the Schlapp’s at the ACU?”

To which the person responded, “Hi, Yes!”

Hutchinson then said, “Do you happen to know a First Amendment fund POC I could reach out to? I was subpoenaed in early Nov., but the committee waited to serve me until last week (after Ben’s deposition).”

“I had to accept service because the U.S. Marshalls came to my apartment last Wednesday, but I haven’t made contact with the Committee. I’m just on a tight timeline and just trying to figure out what my options are to deal with this bs,” Hutchinson added. —DailyCaller

Deal with this ‘bs’, she said. Is that someone who sounds like she’s eager to testify?

She was called up to answer questions in front of this committee on five separate times, counting the time she went on TV. Why did she go so many times? Was she coerced into giving answers Liz Cheney wanted to hear? Were there any threats or promises given in connection with her giving this testimony?

The fact is, nobody really knows. Because so much of this star chamber exercise has been done in secret. Even that which is done in public has been completely one-sided.

Even Proverbs, from 1000 years BC could succinctly explain what was wrong with this strategy:

‘The first one to plead his cause seems right, until his neighbor comes and examines him.’ –Prov 18:17

The people running this farce with it’s bypassing of any rules of evidence, and refusal to include anything exculpatory, or even for someone representing the accused to cross-examine the accusors’ claims is a far greater affront to the American rule of law that some tattooed vegan in bison horns walking around in the Senate Chamber asking if anyone needs medical attention.

Even Hutchinson’s claims that Trump was aware of the potential of violence puts Trump in a better light than Pelosi, because there are 5 witnesses who saw Trump offer 20,000 National Guard troops to protect the Capitol, but for some reason both Pelosi and Mayor Bowser refused that offer.

If Trump truly was trying to ‘subvert’ Democracy — after he had personally authorized the Transition team process to move forward — why the hell would he risk offering 20,000 troops that would have been exactly the remedy required to prevent the Capitol from being overrun in the first place?
