Israel agreed to a ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza after over 4,000 rockets were launched against Israel over 11 days by the terrorist organization. It is unlikely to last, simply because it is the stated purpose of Hamas and Islamic Jihad to destroy Israel. And the Biden administration plays right along with the deception. At this point in time, terrorism has become a business. Israel’s only respite from the problem was during the Trump administration.
It was a refreshing pause especially for all the children who didn’t get bombed, the homes that didn’t have rockets smash through their roofs, and the soldiers who didn’t get shot just so that State Department negotiators could tell Israel the current going rate for ending the attacks…
The Trump administration overturned conventional wisdom by recognizing that the terrorists, who had repeatedly rejected and sabotaged peace negotiations for two generations, not the Israelis, who had shown up for every bad faith attempt at negotiations, were the problem.Instead of taking away territory from Israel and giving it to the terrorists, President Trump began recognizing Israeli claims to parts of Israel, while cutting off money and political support from the terrorists. The terrorists didn’t turn pacifist, but they turned down the violence because they understood that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, unlike Kerry, wouldn’t be bailing them out.

Israel agreed to the ceasefire that was brokered by Egypt, and was set to begin Friday at 2 a.m. local time (Thursday at 7 pm Eastern) (Fox). It’s a pattern that has replayed itself for decades. According to the Jerusalem Post, there have been no rockets fired since the 2 a.m. ceasefire. Iran is celebrating the “victory” over Israel, even as over 62 miles of the Hamas underground tunnels, numerous command and control centers, and storage facilities were destroyed. They got what they wanted: blame placed on Israel and all the concessions that will likely follow.

The Biden administration is riddled with Israel-haters like Hady Amr,, Maher Bitar, Reema Dodin, and Sarah Margon. They are people who have cheered the rocket attacks on Israel, cheered the BDS movement, and promoted the ideas of Hamas by blaming Israel. Add to them AOC, Omar, Tlaib and others and you have a perfect cycle of deception.
Israel says it won, Hamas claims they won. But in reality, nobody won. The cycle continues without conclusion. War + peace negotiations = concessions.
