Waleed Idris al-Meneesey, a radical Muslim Islamist who runs the Islamic University of Minnesota (IUM), has been a hot bed for extremism and in a recent sermon, he spoke to invoke the Hadith, which commonly espoused by Muslim terrorists to kill Jews for causing “corruption in the land”.

Al-Meneesey also has written that Muslims should place sharia law above “man-made” law.

The Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) reported that during a November sermon, al-Meneesy referred to the Hadith, a saying from Islam’s prophet Muhammad, describing how Jews had been punished by God repeatedly for “corruption.”

“When the Children of Israel returned to cause corruption in the time of our Prophet Muhammad,” al-Meneesy said in a translation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, “and they disbelieved him, God destroyed him at his hand. In any case, God Almighty has promised them destruction whenever they cause corruption. History will repeat itself.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

IPT stated, “Al-Meneesy’s extremism goes further back than his anti-Semitic sermon.”

IPT pointed out that in 2007; Al-Meneesy authored a paper for the Assembly of Muslim Jurists Association of America (AMJA), where he sits on the fatwa committee. Muslims should refrain from participating in non-Islamic courts that do not follow Islamic shariah law, particularly those in the West guided by “man-made” law.

Al-Meneesey also said, “The authority to legislate rests with Allah alone.”

The paper IPT referred to was written for an Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA) meeting who cautioned Muslims against participating in American legal system and urged them to “Hate It in Their Hearts”.

AMJA sole purpose is to “clarify the rulings of the sharia which are relevant for those who live in America” is not just a fringe organization with no influence. The Islamic scholars involved with this group occupy influential positions in universities, Islamic centers, and mosques throughout the United States.

Because of Al-Meneesey and his own Dar al-Farooq Islamic Center and Al-Farooq Youth & Family Center, he has helped produce at least five young members who left to fight for ISIS or al-Shabaab in Somalia.

If that was not enough, Minnesota Muslims want Shariah laws and Robert Spencer of JihadWatch captured their views on video during street interviews that presents anti-American and anti-1st Amendment views.

The camera crew with the David Horowitz Freedom Center released a video posted to Robert Spencer’s blog, Jihad Watch, in which documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz captures Somali men and women on the streets of Cedar Riverside answering simple questions.
