An Illinois gun grabber was a little touchy when a resident began asking her questions about SB 107, the bill proposed to ban semi-automatic firearms.

SB 107 states:
Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Makes it unlawful for any person to knowingly possess an assault weapon 300 days after the effective date of the amendatory Act, except possession of weapons registered with the Department of State Police in the time provided. Provides exemptions and penalties. Effective immediately.
Mike Weisman, VP of the Illinois State Rifle Association, a constituent of State Senator Julie Morrison, attempted ask questions about the bill, and she appears to have revealed the bottom line that most gun-grabbers deny: they don’t want ANY Americans to be armed, and would rather have those firearms confiscated.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
SB 107 bans most semi-automatic firearms, including accessory sales. Current owners of the banned guns would be required to pay a fee and register their weapons. The fee is set at $25 per firearm and failure to register them would be a felony. The only thing this bill does is hassle legal gun owners- it makes no difference for ending “gun violence.” Here is the exchange, as reported by  The Truth About Guns:
Constituent:Â You have a SB107 to take away my semi-automatic firearms.
State Senator Julie Morrison: To clarify, I’m not taking your gun away from you. You just can’t buy any new ones.
Constituent:Â You want me to turn it over to the state police.
Sen. Morrison: You can’t buy new ones.
Constituent:Â Unless I give you a fine. Unless I pay a fine for each firearm and register them, then I get to keep them. So, if I get to keep it, if I pay a fine and register it, how dangerous is it in the first place? Why do you need to pay it at all?
Sen. Morrison: Well, you’ve just maybe changed my mind. Maybe we won’t have a fine at all. Maybe we’ll just be a confiscation and we won’t have to worry about you paying the fine.
Senator Julie Morrison is just an Illinois gun grabber – and her belligerent, arrogant facial expressions are telling. Here is the video of the encounter:
Senator Morrison’s response is typical of an anti-gunner. This particular Illinois gun grabber seems to have a relatively short fuse. And as usual, none of them give a fig for the Constitution, or any right enumerated therein. So far, SB 107 has not come out of committee, as the last action on the bill was in March.
