Idaho Gubernatorial Candidate Ammon Bundy Promises to Help Cover Moving Costs of Liberals Who Leave if He Wins (Video)

Says "it’s cheaper than keeping them here."

In a campaign ad posted to Twitter on Tuesday, Ammon Bundy, an independent running for Governor of Idaho against incumbent Republican Brad Little, Democrat Stephen Heidt, and Libertarian Paul Sand, promised the state would help cover the moving costs of liberals who said they would leave the state if he wins in November.

“Idaho liberals say that if I’m elected as governor, they will leave the state,” Bundy says in his ad, posted to Twitter. “Well, I’m here to tell you that when I’m elected governor, Idaho will help pay for their moving costs — after all, it’s cheaper than keeping them here.”

Here’s the ad:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

In the press release accompanying the video, Bundy explains that, “Idaho spends nearly 40 percent of our annual budget on welfare programs. That’s almost four billion of your tax dollars going up in smoke every year.”

Bundy also said that if he wins, he would get rid of the “property tax, income tax, and your grocery tax,” and would balance the budget by getting rid of the welfare state.

“Idaho isn’t California, and if liberals have a problem with that, then we will help them move there,” he added.

The short ad concludes with Bundy winking at the camera, telling voters that, “no one is saying you have to leave, but if you’re going to stay here, you have to work like the rest of us.”

There was quite a bit of response from the ad, both pro and con.  Here’s a small sample:

In another ad posted earlier in the month, Bundy promised to deal with those targeting children with the LGBTQ+ agenda:

Readers may recall that Bundy was a central figure in a 2014 land dispute that ended with an armed confrontation between law enforcement and supporters of his father, cattle rancher Cliven Bundy.  In 2016, he was involved in a standoff at an Oregon wildlife refuge.

It’s highly unlikely Bundy will win in November, however, his latest ad seems to have struck a chord with quite a few voters.
