HuffPo falsely claims #MarchAgainstSharia a ‘March against Muslims,’ suggests only ‘haters’ oppose Sharia

On Saturday, 28 cities saw what was billed as a #MarchAgainstSharia, but according to the alt-left HuffPo, the marches had nothing to do with opposition to oppressive Islamic law, which liberals would have us believe doesn’t exist, and has everything to do with bigotry against Muslims.  Worse yet, the HuffPo insinuated that only bigots, neo-Nazis and other hatemongers oppose Sharia law.

Christopher Mathias wrote:

An unholy alliance of Islamophobic hate group members, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and armed anti-government militia members will rally against the nonexistent threat of sharia, or Islamic, law in the U.S this weekend.

The “March Against Sharia” rallies are set to place on Saturday in 29 cities across 21 states, and are being organized by Act for America, the nation’s largest anti-Muslim hate group. Act for America has billed this weekend’s events as some kind of noble stand against “atrocities” it attributes ― wrongly ― to sharia.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

But a quick look at the group’s origins and its members’ statements reveal that pretext to be a ruse. Saturday’s marches are against Muslims and Islam itself, and they’re attracting some of the most dangerous elements of the far right.

Translation: Atrocities under Sharia law don’t exist, and only bigoted fascists and neo-Nazis oppose fascist oppression.  Got it?

And to prove his point, Mathias quoted Sharia apologist Linda Sarsour.

“They are calling them ‘Anti-Sharia’ rallies, but let us call them what they are: ‘Anti-Muslim’ protests,” she wrote on Facebook, Mathias said. “If your definition of Sharia was defined by an anti-Muslim bigot, you might want to rethink it and ask a Muslim who actually follows the religion of Islam.”

While Mathias did indicate that Sharia law is practiced differently around the world, as shown here, he failed to mention some of the punishments meted out under the code — like stoning of women who have been raped, or beheading, the amputation of those accused of theft, or the execution of gays by tossing them off high buildings.

That’s right — not a single word.  Zero.  Zilch.  Nada.  Nothing.

Nor did he mention that in some countries practicing extreme forms of Sharia, women are considered second-class citizens and are often abused in ways quite offensive in Western Civilization.

So, using his own “logic,” if, indeed, one chooses to call it that, one could just as easily make the argument that Mathias and liberals at the HuffPo are perfectly fine with abuse of women, like acid attacks, honor killings and female genital mutilation.  See how that works?

Instead, he chose to rely on the far-left hate group SPLC to attack protest organizers as either supporting neo-Nazis or bigots.

In short, his piece is nothing more than alt-left propaganda intended to inflame already-insane leftists to engage in acts like what transpired in New York City against Lauren Southern.

So, one has to ask — Does Mathias support assaulting conservative women?  We won’t hold our breath waiting for outrage from him or the HuffPo.

Exit question — which was actually posed by Brigitte Gabrielle to NBC — If Act for America IS an anti-Muslim group, then why did Muslims speak at their rallies?

Moreover, why did Mathias ignore that, considering that this tweet was actually seen on his Twitter feed?
