Hillary: Australian gun confiscation ‘worth considering’ – Video

During a town hall meeting held October 16 in Keene, N.H., Democratic Party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton praised gun-control measures enacted in Australia, telling one questioner the measures taken Down Under are “worth considering.”
As a result, Clinton found herself getting schooled by many who reminded her that the United States has something Australia doesn’t — the Second Amendment, which clearly states that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Here’s video of that statement:
The statement sparked a lot of discussion on Twitter:
Q: Australia confiscated handguns. Can we do that?
Hillary: "Australia is a good example…I think that's worth considering."— Phil Kerpen (@kerpen) October 16, 2015

@kerpen The answer is Australia doesn't have a constitutionally guaranteed right to bear arms so no, you cannot confiscate weapons in the US

Since when has Hillary given a whit about the law?
@Andrew_Dad @kerpen Come get 'em, grandma!

Twitchy noted:
Hillary Clinton said the other day that she’s all about protecting the 2nd Amendment while fighting back against the NRA. Judging by her comments today in New Hampshire, Hillary doesn’t exactly sound like a guardian of the 2nd Amendment…
No, she doesn’t.
But, wait, it gets even better, as Infowars’ Kit Daniels observed:
But she failed to mention that she supported shipping guns to Syrian rebels, the majority of whom are either ISIS militants or affiliated with the Islamic State.
“In fact she was the biggest cheerleader for redistributing these arms to Syrian rebels,” presidential candidate Rand Paul told Fox News in July. “The reason this is an important issue is many of these people who received the arms are not friends of America.”
“Many of them are linked to al Qaeda and al-Nusra and some of these weapons may well have ended up in the hands of people who became ISIS.”
Say what? You read that right. Clinton is apparently okay with stripping Americans of their Constitutionally-guaranteed right to keep and bear arms, while being okay with arming terrorists.
It seems that Obama, with all his gun-grabbing efforts (which, by the way, were endorsed by the Communist Party USA) is a piker on gun control when compared to Hillary.
One person wryly noted:
They keep citing mass confiscation while claiming conservatives are paranoid about it. https://t.co/yb2bVHCQiY

Gee, wonder why we’re concerned about confiscation. Don’t forget, Obama essentially made the same argument not that long ago. Kinda makes you think they’ve got something up their sleeve, which, if passed, could spark this…
