Harris VP Pick Tim Walz Has Lied for Years Claiming He Went to War in Iraq, Liberal Media Stealth-Edits Walz Lies

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who is Kamala Harris’s pick for her vice-presidential running mate, has been lying for years and claiming that he served in war in the U.S. military in Iraq when he absolutely did not.

He has also variously claimed he retired as a Sgt. Major and that he carried a weapon “in war.” Both are lies.

The media — and the Harris campaign — has facilitated these lies for years and have allowed Walz to make these false claims without correction… until today. Today the media is quietly going back into past stories and “correcting” them without leaving notes to readers that the “corrections” have been made.

In any case, the first video clip posted to X by the Harris campaign to be highlighted is his claim that he carried a weapon while serving in a war. His claim is a flat-out lie.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“I spent 25 years in the Army, and I hunt … I’ve been voting for common-sense legislation that protects the Second Amendment, but we can do background checks. We can do CDC research … We can make sure that those weapons of war that I carried in war is the only place where those weapons are at,” he said in the video.

Tim Walz’s official record shows that he served in the Minnesota National Guard for 24 years, then suddenly retired just as his unit was designated for a tour in Iraq. He served in Europe, but never in a war zone. Never even near one.

The website Stolen Valor accused Walz of pretending to be a warrior and falsely claiming to have served at war.

In his recent re-election campaign, Walz also claimed to have retired as a Sergeant Major. But in fact he never got any higher than master sergeant, or an E-8. His rant of Master Sgt. was never finalized as he did not complete all the requirements necessary to attain the rank.

Meanwhile, right after Walz was announced as Harris’ VP pick, all the lamestream media outlets rushed to note that Walz is a veteran who went to war. And all of them were caught in the lie. Then, they made stealth edits to their stories when the truth was revealed.

As Breitbart News reported, Bloomberg, CNN, and a host of other fake news outlets reported Walz’s lies as if it was all true only to quietly change their stories later without telling readers and viewers that the changes were made.

The media won’t tell you any of this. They will simply pretend it never happened.
