Google Search Showed “Nazism” as Ideology of the California Republican Party

google search

A Google search of the California Republican Party turned up a “sidebar” in which “Nazism” was listed as an ideology along with conservatism and market liberalism, among others. House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy called them on it. They claimed it was ‘vandalism’ and removed it. What’s next? This is low, even for Google.

Sadly, this is just the latest incident in a disturbing trend to slander conservatives. These damaging actions must be held to account. #StopTheBias https://t.co/6ztyuc772s

More bias against conservatives. This one from @google is even more disgusting than @instagram putting up a note that those searching a # of my name “could cause harm and even lead to death”. So much for free thought or speech!

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The Hill noted that when they checked the edit history of Wikipedia, they found that “nazism” had been briefly added to the page on the California Republican Party.

But coming less than a week before the California Primary Election, Republicans are deeply concerned.  Will this skew the reslts?

Google has a long history of bias against Conservatives and any websites they do not agree with, although they continually claim otherwise. They have been ripped for deliberately censoring Conservative websites or even books from coming up in searches… even after the people comply with all the “requirements.” Dinesh D’Souza once threatened to sue them if they didn’t allow his movies about Obama and Hillary to show. Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have censored persons or attacked the pages of just about every Conservative on the planet.

These social media tech companies are seriously biased, but when you hear them tell it, it’s always someone else’s fault.

“This was not the result of any manual change by anyone at Google. We don’t bias our search results toward any political party. Sometimes people vandalize public information sources, like Wikipedia, which can impact the information that appears in search…We have systems in place that catch vandalism before it impacts search results, but occasionally errors get through, and that’s what happened here. This would have been fixed systematically once we processed the removal from Wikipedia, but when we noticed the vandalism we worked quickly to accelerate this process to remove the erroneous information.” Google statement

Riiight. ‘We didn’t do it, we’re innocent.’ ‘We just speak the truth.’ ‘We’re not biased.’ Hogwash. Republicans have demanded that tech companies provide more transparency on why they have deliberately and obviously been biased.

“Google owes conservatives answers and assurances that they are putting an end to this. Evidence is mounting that conservative voices are either being suppressed or, as it appears in this case, being falsely depicted as hateful extremists.” Republican Party Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to Vice News

Twitchy noted some of the responses to a tweet by James Woods the matter:

An apology is on the way, correct? Hello? Anyone?

That’s what makes the Russian garbage so laughable. Progressives manipulate the internet infinitely more than any group of Russians. Russian influence isn’t a blip. Look up ‘google bombing’. I first saw that tactic when they were trying to take down @glennbeck

Exactly.

HUGE corporations like #Google which control the censorship and dessimination of information are one of the greatest threats to democracy today. They can influence politics in deep and disturbing ways. Something needs to be done to guarantee their neutrality.
