Globalist Defeat in European Elections

The globalist defeat in European elections over the weekend stunned everyone except the people who voted to kick them out. In France, UK, and Italy, right wing parties swept to victories in elections.

France: the Right wing party of Marine LePen

UK Telegraph:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Le Pen’s National Rally (NR) finished ahead of President Emmanuel Macron’s pro-EU en Marche party. The French nationlists won around 23 percent of the vote, ahead of Macron’s party at around 22 percent. The once powerful Socialist party was totally crushed, coming in the fifth place with almost 6 percent of the vote.

Emmanuel Macron’s globalist (centrist) party was dealt a stunning defeat. But Macron has found angry constituents across France with the “yellow vest” protests. The protesters are sick of the globalist agenda and showed it at the ballot box. Macron wants to fight them, but he may have some even worse issues if he does.

UK – Nigel Farage Brexit Party also wins

For those Brits who wanted a Brexit and never got it, the weekend elections were seen as movement sorely needed.

UK Telegraph:

The Brexit Party has won nine of the 10 regions to declare its results in the European elections, claiming 28 of 64 seats in the European Parliament.

Nigel Farage’s party came top in the North East, North West, East of England, Wales, West Midlands, East Midlands, Yorkshire & Humber, the South West and South East.

This came largely at the expense of the Conservative Party. Theresa May’s party have lost a huge share of the vote across all regions, so far losing 15 MEP seats to a total of three.

Italy: Matteo Salvini

Salvini has been called a right wing deputy prime minister. Keep in mind that the European definition of “right wing” is often different than ours.

Euractive:

“People have given us the mission to put the rights to work and to healthcare at the heart of the European debate,” Lega’s leader Matteo Salvini told the press around 1:00 am, in what was the first comment by an Italian politician after the EU election results were announced.

In the distant contest opposing him to the anti-system Five Star Movement, the far-right Interior minister came out as the indisputable winner, as voters rewarded his hardline economic and migration policies.

Mainstream establishment parties were the biggest losers of the night — including Chancellor Merkel’s Christian conservatives, President Macron’s centrist party and Prime Minister May’s British conservatives, while the left-wing and environmentalist green parties also made huge electoral gains.

Belgium, Austria, Germany had nationalists pull ahead of the centrist/globalist/left wing parties. Spain kept their socialist party, which was not a surprise. The Netherlands handed the right wing party of Geert Wilders a defeat.

The green parties also made gains in the elections, indicating that some of the population of Europe has fallen for the climate change agenda.

All in all, the globalist defeat was evident in many of the elections over the weekend. Nationalism, populism, generally made gains across the board in most of the countries.

What does that mean? It means that in most of these cases the people are beginning to take power again, wresting it away from the globalists. Although Europe has a different mindset from the US in nearly every corner, it’s a start.
