Glenn Beck: Biden-Harris Regime BLOCKING Charity Efforts To Evacuate Afghan Christians (Video)

You’d think that “devout Catholic” President Joe Biden would be concerned about the plight of Christians in Afghanistan… but that doesn’t seem to be on his radar at all.

According to conservative talk radio host Glenn Beck, the Biden-Harris White House and the U.S. State Department have been blocking efforts by the charity he supports, the Nazarene Fund, to evacuate thousands of Christians from Afghanistan.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson of Fox News on Thursday, Beck said that he has had cooperation with three Muslim countries to take in refugees, but the roadblocks that the Nazarene Fund is facing are from the United States.

Beck promoted the efforts of the Nazarene Fund on his radio show and appealed to his audience to donate. So far, the Nazarene Fund has raised nearly $30 million to evacuate Christians from Afghanistan. As the situation in Afghanistan has become desperate, the mission has now expanded to include others who face persecution under the Taliban.

To date, the Nazarene Fund has been able to evacuate 5,100 Christians and other refugees out of Afghanistan since the Taliban took over in mid-August.

Speaking from an undisclosed location in the Middle East, Beck said that the country that he is in has hit its limit for taking in refugees, but that there are two other countries nearby willing to put aside differences and take in Afghans evacuated by the Nazarene Fund.

Beck told Carlson that on Thursday morning there were 500 Afghan Christians inside the airport in Kabul ready to depart but were ordered back outside of the gates by officials. He said he received photos of them pleading to get back through the gate, but they were not permitted inside. Beck then said that he received gruesome photos of “blood and body parts and death” in that same area after a suicide bomber attacked. He fears that some of the Christians being evacuated were among those killed.

“We believe that our State Department is directly responsible for what we believe were some of these people. I don’t know how many survived,” said Beck.

“The State Department has blocked us every step of the way,” stated Beck.”The State Department and the White House have been the biggest problem.”

“In fact, an ambassador was called in Macedonia last night and told not to accept any of these people as we were trying to get them off of the tarmac here to keep the airport flowing and getting these Christians out,” said Beck.

After telling Carlson that the Nazarene Fund has managed to evacuate over 5,000 Afghan Christians, he said that the State Department and the White House have blocked them “every single step of the way.”

Beck said that the charity hasn’t been able to move anybody “for about 12 hours,” adding, “our mission is now changing greatly. We have to send people into even greater danger to try to smuggle these Christians out who are marked not just for death, but to be set on fire alive because they are converted Christians.”

Later in the interview, he said, “I mean, it’s really interesting. We have open borders and closed airports.”

“One group of people are exploited, raped, and killed by drug cartels and the other group of people are raped, exploited or crucified by terrorists. It seems to be a pattern with the Biden administration,” said Beck.

Christians in Afghanistan are in danger once the United States and other Western nations fully withdraw. The Taliban isn’t exactly open to religious diversity.

When the Taliban takes over a village, all members of a household are required to go to pray at the local mosque five times a day. Anyone who does not go must provide a valid excuse, and this could potentially expose someone as being a Christian.

According to Open Doors, an organization that supports persecuted Christians, Afghanistan “is only very slightly less oppressive than in North Korea.”

Even with the Western-backed government that recently fell, Afghanistan was number 2 on the Open Doors “World Watch List” for countries that persecute Christians.

Open Doors writes, “It is impossible to live openly as a Christian in Afghanistan. Leaving Islam is considered shameful, and Christian converts face dire consequences if their new faith is discovered. Either they have to flee the country or they will be killed.”

A Persecution.org article explains the concerns that Afghan Christians have now that the Taliban has taken over.

Afghanistan’s Christian community is almost exclusively comprised of converts from Islam. Some estimate the Christian population to be between 10,000 and 12,000, making it the country’s largest religious minority group. However, due to extreme persecution, the Christian community remains largely closeted and hidden from the public eye.

Their status as converts makes Afghan Christians direct targets for persecution by both extremist groups and society in general. In Afghanistan, leaving Islam is considered extremely shameful and converts can face dire consequences if their conversion is discovered.

In many cases, known Christians must flee Afghanistan or risk being killed.

According to the Taliban’s ideology, Afghanistan is a Muslim country and non-Muslims must leave Afghanistan or accept second-class status. For Christians coming from convert backgrounds, the Taliban will consider them apostates and subject to Sharia’s deadliest consequences.

One Afghan Christian told Persecution.org that the Taliban will execute Christians “mafia-style” and will not take responsibility for the murders.

One of the biggest concerns for Afghan Christians is that their children will be taken by the Taliban and indoctrinated in Madrassas like they are in Syria and Nigeria. The boys will be forced to become Taliban fighters, and the girls as young as 12 will be forced to “marry” Taliban fighters, subjecting them to Taliban-sanctioned rape.

Beck said that it’s shameful that the United States government has been less welcoming to Afghan Christians and others facing persecution under the Taliban than the Muslim countries that he and the Nazarene Fund have been working with.

“This country that I’m in, I begged them last night to let me tell them — tell the world who they are. They have more compassion for these Christians than our American government. It is insulting, embarrassing, and wrong,” said Beck. “So I believe what our government is doing now is out and out evil.”

So much for the compassion of “devout Catholic” President Joe Biden. He’s just sentenced Afghan Christians to their deaths, and POLITICO reports that U.S. officials handed over a “kill list” that will make the job much easier.

Biden has blood on his hands, but hey… at least there are no mean tweets.
