Georgia School Bus Attacked, One Student Hospitalized

One non-student, one high school student, and two middle school students attacked a Georgia school bus on November 18. One 10 year old elementary school student was hospitalized from the attack (wyff4).

Police obtained warrants for the two older kids, and took the two middle school students to Juvenile detention. Tiffany Henderson, 18, and Curtis Devon Henderson, 17, allegedly committed the attack on the elementary student because he started a fight with their younger sister.

The Atlanta Journal Courier (AJC) reported:

“Tiffany Henderson, who is not enrolled in a DeKalb County school, is accused of encouraging other family members in the attack, Channel 2 reported. Video from the school bus allegedly showed Henderson yelling and cursing while her 17-year-old brother repeatedly hit and kicked the 10-year-old in the head.

The boy suffered a large cut on his head and experienced temporary memory loss, according to the news station. He was taken to a Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta location.”

Tiffany faces charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and interfering with the operation of a school bus. Curtis Henderson faces the same charges as well as battery and cruelty to children in the first and second degrees. Their intent was to attack the elementary student, so the charges reflect that intent. They are being held without bond at this writing.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Charges against the two middle school students are unknown at this time.

School officials sent a voicemail to Snapfinger Elementary parents to notify them of the attack. The Georgia school bus attack occurred about a mile from Snapfinger Elementary School in the DeKalb County school district.

One parent said: “This is ridiculous. This is why I don’t have my kids on the bus, I drive them to school. And I drive them back home.” Latrice Lewis (NYPost)
