The Islamic caliphate has struck again. This time two ISIS attackers armed with knives have attacked a rural Catholic parish in the small Normandy town of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray near Rouen.

According to multiple sources, not only has ISIS taken credit for the terrorist attack, the killers themselves were heard screaming “Allahu Akbar” and “DAESH” throughout the attack the country church.

While 84-year-old Father Jacques Hamel of St. Etienne’s (St. Ethernan) Parish was celebrating early morning Mass when the two Islamic jihadists burst into the church taking the elderly priest, two nuns and two other worshippers hostage.

While Britain’s The Telegraph is reporting that the killers “cut the priest’s throat,” the Daily Mail took it a step further. As cited, Fr. Hamel’s throat was slashed to such a degree, he was essentially beheaded.

A yet to be publicly identified nun was hacked and slashed to such a degree, she was described as “fighting for life in hospital.”

Local police did respond to the hostage situation in force. As the murderous duo emerged running and screaming from St. Etienne’s, they were shot dead by police sharpshooters.

Prime Minister Manuel Valls expressed horror at what he called “a barbaric attack on a church,” adding: “The whole of France and all Catholics are wounded. We will stand together.”

Despite the stern words from the Prime Minister, the Daily Mail uncovered how hollow his words really are and how self-destructive and emasculated the French really are when it comes to effectively fighting radical Islamic terrorism:

It comes as it emerged that the building was one of a number of Catholic churches on a terrorist ‘hit list’ found on a suspected ISIS extremist last April.

There are also reports that one of the attackers was a local resident who was under electronic tag surveillance having been jailed in France for trying to travel to Syria in 2015. His bail terms allowed him to be unsupervised between 8.30am and 12.30pm – the attack happened between 9am and 11.am.
